摘要： A corner post made of corrugated paperboard is enclosed in a film of plastic or the like and sealed on all sides to protect the corner post from contact with water vapor and thereby retain a high percentage of its dry strength when exposed to high humidity conditions. The plastic film may be selected from the classes consisting of polyethylenes, polyvinyl chlorides or other plastic materials, and the post may be sealed in the plastic enclosure with the aid of a heat shrinking operation, a skin packaging operation, a gluing operation or any combination of the above.
