摘要: A circuit that increases input voltage to higher output voltage connected to a variable frequency drive in an appliance. Several switching arrangements, timing, and safety mechanisms are in place to assist. When the circuit experiences high draw, high voltage output values of circuit decrease over time, but different aspects of the circuit can be constructed so that the amount of time required at a higher voltage does not exceed the amount of time in which the high voltage output is provided.

摘要: A circuit that increases input voltage to higher output voltage connected to a drive. The circuit can include a power input that receives the input voltage from a power source and at least one capacitor bank connected with the power input. A current-limiting surge suppressor is positioned between the power input and the at least one capacitor bank. The current-limiting surge suppressor includes a first current-limiting path and a second bypass path. A drain, when operable, dissipates the charge of the at least one capacitor bank. The drive is operable in response to the higher voltage output from the at least one capacitor bank.

摘要: A voltage doubling circuit that increases input voltage to higher output voltage connected to a variable frequency drive. The voltage doubling circuit can include a power input that receives the input voltage from a power source and a first capacitor bank and a second capacitor bank connected with the power input. A current-limiting surge suppressor is positioned between the power input and the first capacitor bank and the second capacitor bank. The current-limiting surge suppressor includes a first current-limiting path and a second bypass path. A drain, when operable, dissipates the charge of the first capacitor bank and the second capacitor bank. A variable frequency drive (VFD) is operable in response to the higher voltage output from the first capacitor bank and the second capacitor bank.
