    摘要: A roller-mandrel thrust bending process (RDSB process) is described, serving to bend metal hollow sections. Starting from the known rolling-bending process, where the hollow section to be bent is filled in its interior and is run into a bending station consisting of several bending rollers, the bending of the hollow section is produced by the movement of the bending rollers in the bending plane. To preserve the advantages of core stretching and bending while avoiding the high costs of this process, it is provided according to the invention that the hollow section of the workpiece is filled by a base mandrel and that the workpiece is pushed into the bending station under thrust. Thus the workpiece to be bent is displaced under thrust and under the friction force of the profile rollers over the mandrel stationary in the bending zone and bent in XYZ direction by the bending station.

    摘要: Bending preshaped sheet metal pieces that have a web and side flanges, by stretching on one side, and compressing on the other side, by utilizing opposed rollers. They can be, and are, selectively bent into cylinder shapes or cone shapes. The bending steps produce folds in the extended edges of the flanges, of circular cross sectional shape, and in one form, are of large dimensions on one side and of small dimensions on the other side, and adjacent pieces are interconnected by placing the large fold of one piece over and encompassing the small fold of the other piece, to form lids of great area.

    摘要: A universal plying iron is described, consisting of a base plate with a mold support positioned on bracket supports in such a way as to match the contour and mold level of the section to be bent on the base plate, the section to be bent, in the form of a bending template, being bent by means of mold rollers around a section support projecting from the mold support. For the universal application of the plying iron, without the need for involved modification of the bending molds, the bracket supports are positioned in adjustable fashion on the base plate and tension elements are provided on the bracket supports, which tension elements stress the mold support and simultaneously carry the section support, and can be adjusted to the desired height.
