Abstract: A sound-damped insulating glazing is described. The glazing has a first pane and a second pane, a peripheral spacer between the first pane and the second pane, an externally encircling seal in a gap between the first pane, the peripheral spacer and the second pane, a vacuum insulating panel between the first pane, the second pane and the peripheral spacer, and at least one acoustic insulating plate is arranged on at least one surface of the vacuum insulating panel.
