    摘要: An electronic reader includes a cover, a middle frame and a paper clamping mechanism. The cover defines a hollow space and includes a bezel defining an opening. The middle frame is secured within the hollow space and includes a connection portion extending between two edges of the opening. The paper clamping mechanism is used for clamping paper on the electronic reader and includes a clamping member, a pivot, and an elastic element. The clamping member is received in the opening and defines a sliding groove. Two ends of the pivot extend through the sliding groove and are received in the bezel, which movably connects the clamping member to the cover. The elastic element is fixed on the bezel to apply a pushing force to the clamping member. Two ends of the clamping member resist the elastic element and the connection portion respectively.

    摘要: An operating method for an integrated interface of a PDA and a wireless communication system includes the following steps. Firstly, when the wireless communication system starts to operate from a standby mode, a state signal is transmitted from the wireless communication system to the PDA. Then, if the PDA receives the state signal when the PDA is in a sleep state, the PDA is wakened and an input source of an audio element inside the PDA is switched to the wireless communication system. An electromagnetic wave signal is received by a wireless communication element and converted into audio data. Afterwards, the audio data is transmitted from the wireless communication system to the PDA and outputted by the audio element.

    摘要: A media playing device is provided. In an exemplary form, the media playing device includes a housing having a cylindrical end with an opening. The media playing device also includes a hollow turning knob. The knob has two protrusions on its inside surface. The media playing device additionally includes a PCB disposed inside the housing with a micro controller unit (MCU) and a pair of switches. The medial playing device further includes an attachment means for attaching the knob to the cylindrical end of the housing and allowing the knob to rotate with respect to the cylindrical end. When the knob is rotated in clockwise direction or counterclockwise direction, one of the two protrusions moves within the opening and can be moved to a position to contact one of the two switches to activate the switch. The activated switch sends a signal to the MCU and the MCU execute an operation.

    摘要: A circuit and operating method for an integrated interface of a PDA and a wireless communication system are disclosed. The circuit includes a PDA-turn-on-wireless-communication-system signal line, a PDA-reset-wireless-communication-system signal line, a PDA-state signal line, a wireless-communication-system-state/wake-up-PDA signal line and two serial ports, wherein the serial ports are electrically connected between the PDA and the wireless communication system, and one of the two ports is used to transmit control signal and status data, another one of the two ports is used to transmit digital data signals. Moreover, the PDA-turn-on-wireless-communication-system signal line and the PDA-reset-wireless-communication-system signal line makes the PDA able to turn on and reset the wireless communication system, respectively. The PDA-state signal line and the wireless-communication-system-state/wake-up-PDA signal line transmit the status of the PDA and wireless communication system to each other.
