Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a magnetic resonance imaging calibration assembly in particular, for dynamic contrast—enhanced magnetic resonance imaging. An exemplary magnetic resonance imaging calibration assembly according to the present disclosure can comprise a subject receptacle for receiving at least a portion of a subject. The exemplary magnetic resonance imaging calibration assembly can further comprise a plurality of phantom compartments, each of which can contain a calibration phantom with a predetermined known T relaxation time. The plurality of phantom compartments can be attached to the subject receptacle in different ways. For example, according to some exemplary embodiments of the 10 present invention, the phantom compartments are separate compartments attached or fixed onto the subject receptacle. According to other exemplary embodiments, the phantom compartments can be formed at least partially by the subject receptacle. The phantom can be for a T1 calibration making use of its known T1.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to N-benzyl pyrrole compounds of formula (I) useful as inhibitors of the enzyme Fatty Acid Amide Hydrolase (FAAH). The disclosure also provides pharmaceutically acceptable compositions comprising the compounds of the disclosure and methods of using the compositions in the treatment or prevention of various disorders.
Abstract:
A sensor system for determining glucose concentration in a tear fluid sample includes a working electrode including an immobilized glucose oxidase enzyme portion for reacting with glucose in the tear fluid sample, and a selectivity portion for enhancing the selectivity for glucose over electroactive interferent species in the tear fluid sample. Alternatively, a vessel for receiving the tear fluid sample may include the enzyme portion on an inner wall thereof. A reference electrode is disposed adjacent the working electrode, wherein the electrochemical reaction of the enzyme portion with glucose in the tear fluid sample generates a current related to the glucose concentration in the tear fluid sample.
Abstract:
A process for preparing an optical colored polyester film using microwave technique comprises the following steps: microwave dyeing treatment by passing a polyester film through a disperse dye suspension with steady water phase in a dye-pool comprising a microwave generator; rinsing with water; rinsing with solvent; finally drying treatment, and then uniform optical colored films with various colors are obtained. The optical colored films are used as optical filters or optical protection films and as glass window films for automobile, and domestic and office windows.

Abstract:
A heat dissipation device includes a heat sink (10) and a blower (50) for generating an airflow to the heat sink. The blower includes a housing (60) and at least one plate (63a, 63b) extending outwardly from the housing. The housing forms a contacting surface (610, 620) abutting a side of the heat sink. The plate includes an inner surface (630) abutting another side of the heat sink. A groove (69) is defined in a junction of the housing and the plate, and thus the contacting surface of the housing and the inner surface of the plate are planar-shaped to avoid interference between the housing of the blower and the heat sink. The groove has chamfer angles R therein. The housing is made by plastic injection molding or die casting.

Abstract:
A thermal module (10) for dissipating heat from a heat-generating electronic component includes a fin assembly (12), and a heat pipe (14) including an evaporator section (141) and a curve shaped condenser section (142). The evaporator section of the heat pipe thermally contacts with the heat-generating electronic component, and the condenser section of the heat pipe is disposed on the fin assembly along a longitudinal axis of the fin assembly. The condenser section has a serpentine configuration.
