摘要： A luggage case (10) has a molded, relatively hard or rigid back portion affixed to the relatively soft fabric constructed front portion (12). A connector form (25) constructed of an extruded, flexible shape extends around the peripheral rim (19) of the back portion, and has a first free end (30) which is attached by sewing to a gusset (21) that extends around the front portion (11). The connector form (25) has an upper portion that has one and preferably two channels on an outer portion, one of which contains a stiffening wire (36). The upper portion is fastened by stitching to the rim (19) of the back portion. The upper portion includes at least a pair of protruding pockets (22), which define a gap or channel (23) there between. A strap (39) attached to opposite sides of the back portion by triangular-shaped anchors, passes through this gap or channel (23) and had a lifting handle (38) attached thereto. A shoulder harness has ends that can be attached to an end of the back portion and to the lifting handle (38) at a shoulder yolk can be used to carry the luggage case (10) on one's back.

摘要： A suitcase may include at least two panels defining a pocket, a substantially planar object sized for receipt within a pocket, at least one guide joined to at least one of the at least two panels, and at least one connection assembly joining the substantially planar object to the at least one guide. The substantially planar object may be a table. The at least one connection assembly and the at least one guide may be configured to allow the at least one connection assembly to move along the guide. The at least one connection assembly may further be configured to allow the table to pivot relative to an outer surface of the suitcase. The table may be supported by an upper outer surface of the suitcase. The table may provide a working surface for a user.

摘要： A system for converting wind power to electrical energy has a peripheral frame, sails interconnected to the peripheral frame, radial struts extending from the hub to the peripheral frame, wheels mounted on the peripheral frame, electric generators interconnected with respective wheels, and a hub about which the peripheral frame is rotatable. The hub is in electrical communication with the electric generators. Sails may be interconnected with the peripheral frame on respective masts, each mast having a base and the mast being pivotable about the base. The electric generators may be mounted on a variety of locations, such as the peripheral frame. Each electric generator may be interconnected with a respective wheel via a belt, a chain or other mechanism. The system may include arrangements to generate electricity from sunlight.

摘要： A priming method for a fluid ejection system that divides the priming schedule for the ink ejector into two parts (charging and priming). Priming is well known in the industry and is a high negative pressure pulse of short duration to minimize print quality defects and to remove air bubbles in the printhead. Charging is a low negative pressure profile of longer duration to prepare dry or new printhead for use and to minimize discontinuities and ink flow when a new ink jet cartridge is installed.

摘要： A wheeled upright luggage case is disclosed. The best embodiment of the case has wheels to allow the case to stand upright in a stable and balanced position without attendance by the user. The case has a wheel handle to allow the user to push or pull the case across a supporting surface. The case may be pushed or pulled on either four wheels or two wheels. When four wheels are used, the full weight of the case and its contents are borne by the wheels, relieving the user from having to bear with her arm any of the weight of the luggage. The body of the case is designed to have a specific range of tilt angles from the vertical; by tilting the body of the case toward the user, the design of the case improves the stability of the case while it is pushed across a supporting surface on four wheels. Various case body configurations and push handle arrangements are disclosed.

摘要： An article of luggage includes a garment bag enclosure and a packing case enclosure which advantageously cooperate with one another in a transportation state or condition and a use state or condition. The packing case enclosure is preferably connected to an inner panel of the garment bag enclosure. In the transportation condition, the garment bag enclosure folds over the top of the packing case enclosure and the luggage article is easily transported by carrying devices attached preferably to the exterior panel of the garment bag enclosure. In the use orientation, the interior panel of the garment bag enclosure is disconnected, and the packing case enclosure moves or pivots outward to an extended orientation. A divider panel provides access to the interior of the packing case enclosure while access to the garment bag enclosure is simultaneously available as a result of the detachment of the interior panel. In the use condition in which the packing case enclosure is in the extended orientation, the luggage article can be used to house garments on hangers and other smaller items within the packing case enclosure, thereby avoiding the necessity for unpacking and repacking the luggage article.
