摘要： A system, medium, and method for controlling an operation according to movement. A movement model can be generated based on at least one movement and stored corresponding to a predetermined operation. Movement input by a user may then be compared with the stored movement model, and the predetermined operation can be controlled according to the comparison result. The system may include an inertial sensor sensing movement, a movement probability distribution maker making a probability distribution of movement using stored movement models, a movement comparator determining similarity between a movement model and a movement sensed by the inertial sensor using the probability distribution, and an output unit outputting a operation control signal stored corresponding to a movement model according to a determination result made by the movement comparator.

摘要： An apparatus and method for increasing the rate of recognition of spatial writing, the apparatus including an inertia sensor module, a storage module, an operation module, and a recognition module. The inertia sensor module measures acceleration of a spatial writing device. The storage module stores predetermined operation information and parameters for tracing the motion trajectory of spatial writing, and pattern information about the motion trajectory. The operation module calculates a velocity of the spatial writing from the acceleration measured using the operation information and parameters, corrects the calculated motion velocity by limiting positional relationships between predetermined points which correspond to the motion trajectory of the spatial writing, and traces the motion trajectory using the corrected motion velocity. The recognition module recognizes the spatial writing by comparing the motion trajectory of spatial writing traced by the operation module with pattern information about motion trajectories stored in the storage module.

摘要： An audio generating apparatus includes: a sensor which senses a motion of a predetermined apparatus and generates a sensor signal corresponding to the sensed motion; a motion pattern recognizer which recognizes a motion pattern of the predetermined apparatus based on the sensor signal; and an audio signal generator which generates an audio signal corresponding to the motion pattern. The motion pattern recognizer includes: an analog-to-digital converter which converts the sensor signal into a digital sensor signal; and a motion pattern analyzer which analyzes the motion pattern of the predetermined apparatus based on the digital sensor signal. The audio signal generator includes: a storage medium which stores the motion pattern of the predetermined apparatus and audio signal data corresponding to the motion pattern; and a signal generator which extracts the audio signal data from the storage medium to generate the audio signal.

摘要： An apparatus for correcting an inertial sensor includes an inertial sensor module, a storage module and a control module. The inertial sensor module measures angular velocity and acceleration of an object moving in a space. The storage module stores predetermined operation information and parameters required to correct the measured acceleration. The control module calculates motion velocity from the measured acceleration using the operation information and the parameters, and corrects the calculated motion velocity for each interval between zero-angular-velocity time instances at which angular velocity about an arbitrary axis is “0”.

摘要： Provided are a method and apparatus for compensating an attitude of an inertial navigation system and a method and apparatus for calculating a position of the inertial navigation system using the same. The method of compensating an attitude of the inertial navigation system includes sensing movement of the system and outputting information for stoppage time periods and a movement time period of the system; receiving angular velocity information of the system during every time period and calculating a first attitude of the system using the angular velocity information; receiving gravity direction information of the system during the stoppage time periods, calculating a second attitude of the system using the gravity direction information, and calculating an attitude error of the system during every time period using the first attitude and the second attitude; and compensating the attitude error for the first attitude.
