Abstract: A flexible display panel and a display device are provided. The flexible display panel has a bent edge area and a planar area. The bent edge area and the planar area are arranged in the row direction. A boundary extends in the column direction between each of the at least one bent edge area and the planar area. A side of the bent edge area that is away from the planar area is bent towards a non-light-exiting side of the flexible display panel, so that a portion of the flexible display panel that is located in the bent edge area forms a curved surface when the flexible display panel is in a bent state. A size of each column of sub-pixels located in the edge area in the row direction is larger than a size of each column of sub-pixels located in the planar area in the row direction.

Abstract: A luminance compensation method for a display panel includes: dividing the display area into at least two sub-display areas including a first sub-display area and a second sub-display area, where a density of luminance abnormal textures in the first sub-display area is smaller than that in the second sub-display area, a number of types of the luminance abnormal textures in the first sub-display area is less than that in the second sub-display area; dividing the first sub-display area into a plurality of first compensation units, dividing the second sub-display area into at least one second compensation unit, where a total number of pixel units in each first compensation unit is greater than that in each second compensation unit; obtaining a compensation coefficient of each compensation unit and forming a compensation coefficient table; performing luminance compensation for the display panel according to the compensation coefficient table.

Abstract: A device and a method for obtaining brightness of a display panel are provided. The display panel includes a flat area and a curved area and the curved areas including at least one first curved area. The device includes a brightness acquisition component; an optical path adjustment component; and a control component. Principle light exited from the flat area is incident on a first area of a viewfinder plane of the brightness acquisition component; the optical path adjustment component is disposed on an optical path of principle light exited from the first curved area, and configured to adjust the principle light to be incident on a second area of the viewfinder plane; the first area does not overlap with and the second area; and the control component is configured to process an image captured by the brightness acquisition component to obtain the brightness of the display panel.

Abstract: A flexible touch display panel and a method and a system for detecting a folding angle of the flexible touch display panel are provided.
