Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method, apparatus, and non-transitory computer-readable medium for triggering an execution of an operation instruction. The method includes detecting a first electrical signal generated on a signal line connected to a speaker of a device; determining that the first electrical signal includes a first signal characteristic that corresponds to one of a plurality of signal characteristics, wherein each one of the plurality of signal characteristics corresponds to a respective one of a plurality of operations; executing a first operation from the plurality of operations based on the first signal characteristic.
