Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for retrieving and displaying network state information. The method includes acquiring real-time bandwidth occupation information of bandwidth occupiers associated with a routing device, the bandwidth occupiers having one or more network services on the routing device and at least one electronic device accessing the routing device; generating network state information for the routing device, based on the real-time bandwidth occupation information of the bandwidth occupiers; and sending the network state information for the routing device to a designated device, so that the designated device displays the network state information.
