Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method and a terminal device for controlling a display of a video image. The method includes: obtaining the video image captured by a smart camera device; obtaining orientation variation data of a terminal device when the video image is displayed on a screen of the terminal device; and controlling the video image to slide on the screen according to the orientation variation data of the terminal device.
