Abstract: The present description discloses a nanodemulsifier comprising graphene oxide nanoparticles functionalized with L-glycine, as well as methods for the preparation and use thereof. The nanodemulsifier herein disclosed exhibits excellent demulsifying capabilities for emulsions typically found in the oil & gas industry.
