    Abstract: Inspection of a shape-fixed medicine is performed before packing. A medicine inspection assistance device includes: a medicine support part for rotatably supporting a shape-fixed medicine by a first rotating roller and a second rotating roller, and a medicine imaging part having an imaging means for imaging the shape-fixed medicine supported by the medicine support part from above. The medicine support part is configured such that a contact position between the first rotating roller and the shape-fixed medicine is located above the second rotating roller and the contact position is closer to an axis of the first rotating roller than a gravity center position of the shape-fixed medicine.

The medicine holding part 81 is provided between the lighting part 82 and the photographing part 83. Further, the medicine holding part 81 can hold a medicine with a portion having translucency and pivotally move due to the pivotally supporting part.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for preventing a container from being replenished with the wrong medicine are described. This is achieved by the following process: first, a user places a container on a placement unit and reads a symbol attached to a bottle. Then, a determination is made so as to whether the medicine in the bottle is the correct medicine. If the medicine is incorrect, a message indicating the medicine is incorrect is displayed. If the medicine is correct, a camera records video of the medicine replenishment operation. Once the medicine replenishment is completed, a photographed image of the medicine inside the container and an image of the correct medicine for replenishing the container are displayed. Then, the user views these images and confirms whether the medicine used to replenish the container was correct. If this confirmation is not completed, the medicine dispensing device will not dispense medicine from the container.

    Abstract: A tablet division feeder includes a moving unit to move a tablet T, a fixing blade located in a movement path of the tablet T, and a support plate extending from the fixing blade such that divided tablets T2 on the fixing blade are transferred and kept onto the support plate. The fixing blade divides the tablet T into upper and lower divided tablets as the tablet T is moved in such a manner that the lower divided tablet T1 is discharged and the upper divided tablet T2 is transferred from the fixing blade to the support plate by the moving unit and kept on the support plate. The upper divided tablet T2 is discharged from the support plate as the upper divided tablet T2 is further moved by the moving unit in such a manner that the upper divided tablet T2 is discharged from the moving unit.
