摘要： A method for subscribing for presence information, wherein: a delegated watcher client or an application server sends a subscription message of a watcher client to a presence server; when determining that the subscription message is a delegated subscription, the presence server processes the message according to delegation authorization rules; when determining that the subscription message is a non-delegated subscription, the presence server processes the message in non-delegated subscription mode; and the presence server saves the subscription relation obtained by processing the message. The present invention further provides a system for subscribing for presence information and a presence server. By employing the present invention, the subscription mode of the presence information may be made more flexible.

摘要： The present invention discloses a method for providing presence information, including: setting a validity period of the presence information; publishing, by a presentity client, the received presence information and the validity period to a presence server; and distributing the received presence information and the validity period to a watcher client by the presence server. Thus, the watcher client knows the validity period of the presence information, such as an end time of a current presence time, and thereby selects timely an appropriate time for communication with the presentity client. Furthermore, the present invention also provides a start time of the current presence information, and thus the watcher client knows a duration of the current presence information of the presentity client. The present invention further discloses a system for providing presence information.

摘要： A presence service access device is disclosed for a presentity to publish presence information and transmit said information to the presence server, the device comprising a presentity communication module and a service scheduling control module. Further disclosed is a presence service system using the presence service access device, comprising a presentity, a presence service access device, a presence server, and a watcher client. Also disclosed is a method of publishing and acquiring presence information comprising steps of: 1. a presentity which publishes presence information; 2. the presence service access device which receives the presence information published by the presentity and forwards the same to a presence server; and 3. the presence server which distributes the presence information to corresponding watcher client. According to the present invention, various presentities provide presence information to watcher clients by connecting presence servers through a presence service access device.
