摘要: The present invention provides a display apparatus in which destruction of an insulating film by water or water vapor and generation of air bubbles in the display apparatus can be suppressed. The display apparatus includes a display element having a display layer together with a pixel electrode and an opposite electrode, an insulating film in contact with an under face of the pixel electrode and a metal-containing film that contains a metal element, covers an end face of the insulating film, and covers a part of a top face and a part of an under face which continue to the end face of the insulating film.

摘要: The present invention provides a display apparatus in which destruction of an insulating film by water or water vapor and generation of air bubbles in the display apparatus can be suppressed. 摘要: There is provided a liquid crystal display device that includes a liquid crystal layer interposed between a first substrate and a second substrate and has on a first substrate side a common electrode and a pixel electrode for applying an electric field to the liquid crystal layer, the liquid crystal display device including: a plurality of scan lines and a plurality of signal lines; a drive element; a first insulating film; a common electrode; a second insulating film; and a pixel electrode, wherein the common electrode covers the pixel area except a formation area of the contact hole on the first insulating film and at least one of the scan line and the signal line.

摘要: A display device is provided which includes a base body having a pixel area in which pixels are disposed in a matrix, an organic planarizing film composed of an organic film and provided on the base body, a dry-etched film provided on the organic planarizing film and formed by dry etching, a conductive film provided on the dry-etched film, and an organic film-removed area in which the organic planarizing film is removed outside the periphery of the pixel area. In the above display device, the dry-etched film or a film provided before the dry-etched film is formed is terminated in the organic film-removed area.

摘要: A liquid crystal display device with enhanced brightness through improving a partial structure for applying potential to a pixel electrode is provided. The liquid crystal display device includes: a pixel electrode with a plurality of openings; an opposite electrode disposed to face the pixel electrode with an insulating layer in between; a liquid crystal layer disposed on an opposite side of the pixel electrode from the opposite electrode; a selection line utilized to select a pixel; a thin film transistor disposed on the opposite side of the opposite electrode from the pixel electrode as to drive the pixel and utilizing a part of the selection line as a gate thereof; and an interlayer conductor connecting between the thin film transistor and the pixel electrode. The opposite electrode has an opposite electrode hole which allows the interlayer conductor to pass therethrough, and the opposite electrode hole partly overlaps the selection line.
