摘要: The invention relates to a computer mouse which is one kind of coordinate input devices for a computer, and more particularly to a computer mouse which is suitably used for a portable computer. The mouse has: a thin mouse case in which an upper face portion opposing a palm when the mouse is used is formed into a downward-concaved shape; and a plate-like member having a shape which extends along the downward-concaved upper face of the mouse case, and the plate-like member is attachable to the downward-concaved upper face of the mouse case in both an upward-convex direction and a downward-concave direction. When the mouse is to be used, the plate-like member is attached in the upward-convex manner to the downward-concaved upper face of the mouse case, and, when the mouse is to be carried, the plate-like member is attached in the downward-concave manner to the downward-concaved upper face of the mouse case, thereby realizing compaction of the mouse in which the original shape and size of the mouse are reproducible.

摘要: An EL-illuminated switch which restrains the deterioration of an EL element resulting from outside pressure without causing unevenness of illumination, including an EL sheet, a rubber sheet, a dome switch, and a substrate. In the EL sheet, a luminescent part is formed at a position directly under a key top. The size of the luminescent part is smaller than the key top. A transparent electrode is disposed on the front surface side of the luminescent part, and a back surface electrode is disposed on the rear surface side. The transparent electrode is larger than the luminescent part. The back surface electrode includes an electrode principal part that is in contact with the back surface of the luminescent part and isolated from the lower sheet.

摘要: A touch panel input device of the invention has a panel, an X-line electrode (first electrodes) arranged on a front surface side of the panel, a Y-line electrode (second electrodes) disposed on the back surface side and shifted in planar position relative to the X-line electrode. The device detects whether or not a finger has touched the vicinity of a zone between the X-line electrode 20 and the Y-line electrode on the front surface of the panel. An electrostatic capacitance of the X-line electrode and an electrostatic capacitance of the Y-line electrode are made equal by way of increasing the area of the Y-line electrode with respect to that of the X-line electrode or by way of selecting an appropriate material and/or thickness of the panel and/or the coat.

摘要: Explosion of rechargeable battery can be prevented in a relatively simple structure, at low cost, and without allowing spouting of electrolyte. A rechargeable battery 100D1 using a pressure-crush type protective device comprises a housing H including an internal electrode plate 120 spirally wound about a positive electrode and a negative electrode through a separator, a jacket 110 for accommodating this internal electrode plate 120, and a sealing body 140 for closing the opening of this jacket 110, a positive electrode (or negative electrode) output electrode 130 connected electrically to the internal electrode plate 120, a spacer 200 disposed beneath the sealing body 140 for insulating between the sealing body 140 and internal electrode plate 120, a pressure-crush type protective device A1 disposed in said spacer 200 as a pressure-sensitive element for detecting the internal pressure in the housing H, and an output terminal 400 connected electrically to one terminal of this pressure-crush type protective device A1 (one end of a conductor layer 210A1) for picking up the detection result of the internal pressure detected by the pressure-crush type protective device A1 electrically to outside, in which other terminal of the pressure-crush type protective device A1 (other end of the conductor 210A1) is connected electrically to the positive electrode (or negative electrode) output electrode 130.

摘要: Attachments are respectively attached to one ends of a pair of light guides, which are integrally formed via a connecting portion, such that the attachments surround the one ends of the light guides. The one ends protrude from a rear face of a receptacle body and are opposed to a light-emitting device and a light-receiving device, respectively. The attachments are inserted and positioned in guide holes formed respectively on the light-emitting device and the light-receiving device, and the optical axes of the pair of light guides and the optical axes of the light-emitting device and the light-receiving device are aligned with each other.
