摘要： In one general aspect, a tangible computer-readable storage medium can be configured to store instructions that when executed cause a processor to perform a process. The instructions can include instructions to receive an indicator that at least a portion of a source message has been produced using a source module, and instructions to send to the source module, in response to the indicator, an extraction module configured to assign an attribute value to content of the source message. The attribute value can represent a contextual function of the content within the source message. The instructions can include instructions to receive a content package including the content and the attribute value assigned to the content, and produce a plurality of endpoint-specific messages associated with a plurality of endpoints based on a plurality of message templates and the attribute value assigned to the content within the content package.

One method includes updating an index of a corpus of resources from time to time to generate an updated index for use by a search engine. Change data specifying changes made by users affecting resources are recorded. An index search result based on the most-recently updated index is received in response to a user search query. The change data is searched to identify any changes to the resources made by the user that relate to the search query and if any such changes are found, a revised search result is generated from the changes and the index search result and provided to the user as a response to the first query.

摘要： An improved fiber endface shape for increasing coupling of optical power from a source into fiber and its manufacture are disclosed. The inventive tip comprises a cleaved end surface that is preferably substantially orthogonal to the fiber's axis and a first and second polished, angled surfaces intersecting the end surface. Break-lines between the angled surfaces and the end surface fall near an edge of a cladding-core interface and preferably outside that interface when the fiber and transmitted light are such that a substantial portion of the light is transmitted in the cladding. A spatial intensity profile of light exiting from the tip is detected during manufacture and is used to monitor the polishing of the angled surfaces. Tests have shown that the inventive tip achieves the coupling efficiency associated with the double-angled wedge-shaped fiber tips while maintaining much of the ease of manufacture associated with the single-angle wedge tips.
