    摘要: Disclosed is a method for manufacturing an organic electroluminescent (EL) element which is provided with a pair of electrodes and two or more organic layers disposed between the electrodes, and which includes light-emitting layers as the two or more organic layers. The manufacturing method for an organic EL element includes: a step for forming one electrode of the pair of electrodes; a step for forming the two or more organic layers which have a periodic structure wherein the propagation direction of light propagating in a direction substantially perpendicular to the thickness direction of the light-emitting layers is inclined in said thickness direction; and a step for forming the other electrode of the pair of electrodes. In the step for forming the two or more organic layers, two or more planar layers constituting the organic layers are laminated, and the periodic structure which is periodically arranged in two dimensions is then formed on the two or more planar layers by means of an imprinting method in the plane perpendicular to the thickness direction of the light-emitting layers.

    摘要: The present invention provides an organic EL element configured to stably emit light while suppressing total reflection that occurs at an electrode. This organic EL element includes a pair of electrodes and one or more organic layers provided between the electrodes, and includes a light-emitting layer as the one or more organic layers. Surfaces of the pair of electrodes facing each other are flat. At least one organic layer of the one or more organic layers has a periodic structure that makes the traveling direction of light, traveling in the direction generally perpendicular to the thickness direction of the light-emitting layer, inclined to the thickness direction. The periodic structure has a periodic configuration that is arranged with a two-dimensional period in a plane that is perpendicular to the thickness direction of the light-emitting layer.

    摘要: An organo polysiloxane to improve the abrasion and weather resistance of a hard coating layer obtained from a silicone-type hard coating composition. The hard coating composition contains a first organo polysiloxane having silicone-containing bond units selected from the group consisting of R—Si(—OX)2(—O*—), R—Si(—OX)(—O*—)2 and R—Si(—O*—)3) and a second organo polysiloxane having the same, where the second organo polysiloxane has a weight average molecular weight of 1/10 to 1/1.5 times that of the first organo polysiloxane. Further, a resin substrate having a hard coating layer made of a cured product of the hard coating composition that has improved abrasion and weather resistance. For resin substrates used in a bent state, the hard coating layer also improves the cracking resistance associated with mechanical stress.
