Phenol compositions are provided comprising a compound represented by the formula (1): in the formula (1), R1 and R2 are each independently an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, an aryl group having 6 to 18 carbon atoms, or an aralkyl group having 7 to 18 carbon atoms; R3 is an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms; and R4 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and a compound represented by the formula (2): in the formula (2), R5 and R6 are each independently an alkyl group having 1 to 18 carbon atoms, an aryl group having 6 to 18 carbon atoms, or an aralkyl group having 7 to 18 carbon atoms; and R7 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, in a weight ratio of 1:99 to 99:1.
