摘要: A chromium-base alloy characterized by containing titanium within a range from 0.002 t0 1.5 mass %, with the balance comprising chromium and inevitable impurities, and being produced by melting or casting only. A chromium-base alloy that can be obtained by melting only, has room temperature ductility and a good workability, and has excellent high temperature strength and oxidation resistance even at a high temperature of about 1300° C., as well as a production process therefor are provided.

摘要: Refractory superalloys consist essentially of a primary constituent selected from the group consisting of iridium, rhodium, and a mixture thereof, and one or more additive elements selected from the group consisting of niobium, tantalum, hafnium, zirconium, uranium, vanadium, titanium and aluminum, and the superalloys having a microstructure containing an FCC-type crystalline structure phase and an L1.sub.2 -type crystalline structure phase are precipitated. Preferably the amount of additive element(s) is 2 to 22 atom %.

摘要: A chromium alloy, characterized in that it has a composition which has silver in a content of 0.002 to 5 atomic % and the balance of chromium and inevitable impurities is proposed. The chromium alloy is novel, and retains high melting point, excellent resistance to corrosion and oxidation, excellent thermal conductivity and the like, which are inherent in a chromium base alloy, and also exhibits good ductility at room temperature, and thus can be practically used as an alternative for a Ni base alloy.
