摘要： An outer covering sheet (4) of a pants-type disposable diaper (1) has a front part and a back part (403) to be positioned on a front side and a back side of a wearer, and a middle part lying between the front and back parts. An absorbent body (20) is attached on the outer covering sheet (4) to absorb excrement from the wearer. Both end portions of the absorbent body, positioned in the front part and the back part (403), are folded toward the inner surface (40) of the outer covering sheet (4) and bonded on the inner surface (40). It is therefore possible to prevent skin of the wearer from being irritated by edges (241) of the end portions of the absorbent body (20) when the disposable diaper (1) is worn.

摘要： In a pants-type disposable diaper, an outer covering sheet formed of a nonwoven fabric has front and back parts to be positioned on front and back sides of a wearer, and a middle part between the front and back sides. An absorbent body is attached on the outer covering sheet from the front part to the back part, to absorb excrement from the wearer. Sheet members are bonded on the front and back parts, and end portions of the absorbent body are positioned and fixed between the sheet members and the outer covering sheet. In the disposable diaper, since the sheet member is a laminated sheet of plastic film and nonwoven fabric, stretching of the sheet member is suppressed and it is possible to bring the absorbent body in close contact with the crotch region of the wearer when putting the disposable diaper on the wearer.

摘要： A pants-type disposable diaper has an outer covering sheet formed of a nonwoven fabric. An absorbent body is attached on the outer covering sheet to absorb excrement from the wearer. Sheet members are bonded, (also called “end sheets” or “end holding sheets”) on the front and back, each end portion of the absorbent body being positioned and fixed between the sheet member and the outer covering sheet. The sheet member may be a laminated sheet of plastic film and nonwoven fabric, stretching of the sheet member is suppressed and it is possible to easily bring the absorbent body in close contact with the crotch region of the wearer when putting the disposable diaper on the wearer. The sheet member may also be formed of nonwoven fabric, a fiber orientation of nonwoven fabric on the sheet member then being orthogonal to the edges of end portions of the outer covering sheet in the longitudinal direction, to suppress longitudinal stretching of the sheet member.

摘要： An absorbent body of a diaper has a central absorbent core, a pair of side absorbent cores and a pair of side elastic members. The side elastic members lie left and right of a front portion of the central absorbent core. The side absorbent cores lie left and right of rear and middle portions of the central absorbent core. In the diaper, by contraction of the side elastic members, the side absorbent cores come into close contact with the insides of thighs of a wearer, and urine is prevented from leaking from leg circumferences. Since the side absorbent cores are positioned left and right of the rear and middle portions of the central absorbent core, portions of the wearer's leg circumferences in the vicinity of the front are not covered with the side absorbent cores, and interference with leg movement of the wearer is prevented.

摘要： In a disposable diaper in a developed state where a front cover sheet and a rear cover sheet are separated from each other to be developed, as distance in a left-right direction from an absorbent body increases, a lower edge of the rear cover sheet goes away from an upper edge of the rear cover sheet and then goes toward the upper edge. A leg elastic member is bonded on the rear cover sheet along its lower edge, in left and right of the absorbent body. As above, the lower end portion of the rear cover sheet is convex downward in each of left and right of the absorbent body, and lower portions of hips of a wearer are wrapped with the lower end portions. It is therefore possible to suppress leakage of excrement from the lower portions of hips of the wearer.

According to the disposable pants-type diaper of the above, a foot is hardly caught by the edge of the leg opening in wearing, resulting in easily wearing; and a fitting property of the crotch portion is excellent.
