摘要： The present invention relates to a receiving member which accommodates a display panel which displays an image. The receiving member includes an insulated body portion having a bottom plate and sidewalls to define a receiving space, and at least one ground metal portion provided at a region of the insulated body portion, the at least one ground metal portion formed integrally with the insulated body portion. Accordingly, the body portion of the receiving member is formed of an insulated material, thereby reducing the weight of the receiving member and improving heat radiation. Further, a local metal portion is provided in the receiving member, thereby improving electromagnetic interference (“EMI”) and electrostatic discharge performances of elements such as a control board.

摘要： A liquid crystal display (LCD) includes: a gate-off voltage generator including a temperature compensation unit which comprises a constant voltage output device and which outputs a gate-off voltage having a level which varies based on a change in ambient temperature; a clock generator outputting a first clock signal and a second clock signal; a gate driver outputting gate signals; and a plurality of pixels which turn on or off based on the gate signals, wherein the constant voltage output device outputs a temperature variable voltage having a value based on a voltage difference between a reference terminal of the constant voltage output device and an input terminal of the constant voltage output device, and a voltage difference between the reference terminal and the input terminal of the constant voltage output device varies based on the change in the ambient temperature.

摘要： The present invention is related to a driving apparatus for a liquid crystal display, and a liquid crystal display including the same. A gate-on voltage generator includes first and second resistors connected between a predetermined reference voltage and a ground voltage, a voltage follower connected to a contact between the first resistor and the second resistor, a charge pump circuit connected to an output terminal of the voltage follower, and a gate-on voltage output terminal connected to the charge pump circuit. The voltage follower is disposed in front of the charge pump circuit such that an influence due to load changes is blocked to thereby prevent an excessive increase of the gate-on voltage during a blank time. Furthermore, two resistors having the same resistance are used to divide the reference voltage such that stress on the resistors may be minimized.
