    摘要: A ceramic heater element 10 includes an insulating substrate 101, and a heating resistor 102 embedded in the insulating substrate 101. The insulating substrate 101 contains a main phase formed of β-SiAlON or a multiphase SiAlON of β-SiAlON and α-SiAlON; a grain boundary phase containing a rare earth element; and a silicide of at least one species selected from among Cr, W, Mo, V, and Fe. The heating resistor 102 contains a main phase formed of an electrically conductive compound containing at least one species selected from among silicide, nitride, and carbide of Mo, and silicide, nitride, and carbide of W; β-SiAlON or a multiphase SiAlON of β-SiAlON and α-SiAlON; and a grain boundary phase containing a rare earth element.

    摘要: A pressure controller for an artificial respirator according to this invention includes a control valve facing a gas passage between an inspiratory gas inlet and an inspiratory gas outlet, and an elastic biasing means for elastically biasing the control valve against a valve seat. When an adjustment manipulating member moves backward, even the pivotal motion of the adjustment manipulating member does not operate an adjustment operating member. When the adjustment manipulating member is pulled out, the pivotal motion of the adjustment manipulating member operates the adjustment operating member, thereby adjusting the elastic biasing force of the elastic biasing means. This invention provides a pressure controller for an artificial respirator capable of reliably preventing unnecessary operating of the adjustment operating member although the pivoting operation of the adjustment manipulating member is simple as a whole, and there is no possibility that the adjustment manipulating member and the like are broken.

    摘要: In an infant care apparatus according to this invention, the inner surface of an upper reflecting plate portion of a reflector forms a reflecting surface extending substantially parallel to the axial direction of a rod-like heat generator. A first angle at which a rear end of the reflecting surface as an end portion on a side opposite to the center of an infant mat, when seen from the top, of a direction perpendicular to the axial direction is bent downward with respect to a center in a back-and-forth direction of the reflecting surface, which is developed substantially flat, is larger than a second angle at which a front end of the reflecting surface as an end opposite to the rear end is bent downward with respect to the center of the reflecting surface. This invention can provide the infant care apparatus in which not only a heater need not be retracted to another location or need be only slightly when an infant on the mat is to undergo X-ray imaging of the like, but also in spite that the upper surface of the mat is substantially rectangular, the entire upper surface of the mat can be warmed substantially uniformly or almost uniformly.

The user terminal, which is connected to the server by a network, is booted using an operating system stored in the server. In booting of the user terminal, user information that has been selected by the user from OS-booting user information stored on a removable storage medium of the user terminal is transmitted to the server under the control of a BIOS preboot environment stored in a storage device of the user terminal. On the basis of the user information, the server authenticates the user terminal, transmits the operating system to the user terminal and network-boots the operating system in a user-specific environment.
