摘要: This invention provides gloves and socks containing printed heaters. The glove or sock with a heater comprises a glove or sock, a substrate with the outline of the glove or sock, and a heater printed on the substrate wherein the substrate is laminated to the glove or sock. The heater comprises two printed conductive bus bars with extensions traversing the substrate and an array of printed resistive areas arranged so that each area is between and overlaps and is contiguous to two conductors, one of which is one of the bus bars or its extensions and the second is the other bus bar or its extensions.

The particles of the plurality of strain sensors can be continuously fused to the particles of the part body.

摘要: Voltage-leveled self-regulating heater cables with one or more cores are disclosed, each core having a positive temperature coefficient (PTC) material encapsulating a conductor. A conductive foil/wire and/or conductive ink portions cover a fraction of the cores. The conductive foil/wire may be formed about the cores circumferentially, and the conductive ink portions may be formed over the cores lengthwise. In embodiments with two or more separated conductive ink portions, the conductive foil/wire may be formed to electrically connect the conductive ink portions. A desired power output may be achievable by adjusting the fraction of the cores covered by conductive material.

摘要: One variation of a method for fabricating a garment includes: applying a first mask to a first side of a fabric substrate coated with a conductive material; applying a second mask—mirrored image of the first mask—to a second side of the fabric substrate opposite the first side; applying an etchant to the fabric substrate to remove conductive material outside of the first mask; arranging a conductive interface pad of a component carrier over an electrode defined by remaining conductive material on the fabric substrate, the component carrier including a flexible substrate and a rigid electrical component mounted to the flexible substrate, the conductive interface pad extending from a terminal of the rigid electrical component across a region of the flexible substrate; mechanically fastening the component carrier to the fabric substrate to form a garment insert including an electrical circuit; and incorporating the garment insert into the garment.

The method includes storing an insert member including an exterior resin film with a conductive paste layer, and a first magnetic attractor to become a feed portion into a cavity of a mold including a second magnetic attractor; positioning and fixing the insert member in the cavity using magnetic attractive force of the first and the second magnetic attractors; and injecting resin into the cavity to form a resin panel, thereby integrating the insert member with the resin panel to produce a resin member.
