摘要： A card edge connector (100) includes an insulative housing, a set of contacts (2) retained in the insulative housing and an ejector (3). The insulative housing has a central slot (12) and one tower portion (13) having a receiving slot (135). The contacts protrude into the central slot. The ejector has a main portion (31) received in the receiving slot, an ejecting portion (34) extending from a lower end (35) of the main portion, a locking portion (32) extending inwardly from an upper end of the main portion, and a lever portion (37) extending outwardly from the upper end of the main portion. The locking portion has a pair of vertical portions (324), and a transverse portion (323). The transverse portion connects the vertical portions and divides the vertical portions into upper and lower retaining parts.

摘要： A card edge connector for mating with a corresponding daughter card 200 with a locking notch 201 at a side thereof, comprises: an insulative housing 1, a plurality of contacts 2 assembled to the insulative housing 1 and an ejector 3 and a locking member 4 set on two longitudinal ends of the insulative housing 1. The insulative housing defines a central slot 14 along the longitudinal direction. The locking member 4 is formed with a retention portion 41 and a pair of elastic arms 42 extending upwardly from the retention portion 41 and symmetrically located on two opposite sides of the central slot along a transverse direction perpendicular to longitudinal direction, each elastic arm 42 having a locking portion 321 protruding toward each other for locking with the locking notch 201 of the daughter card 200.

摘要： A card edge connector includes an elongated housing extending along a lengthwise direction thereof and having a pair of opposed side walls, and a central slot between the side walls. A plurality of contacts are retained in the housing and exposed to the central slot. A pair of ejector mechanisms are rotatable retained on two opposite ends of the housing. A pair of auxiliary insulators are attached to the ejector mechanisms, respectively. A tie wrap is located on the auxiliary insulators to urge the auxiliary insulators to prevent the ejector mechanisms from rotating.

An end of the locking head 36 has a bump 360 passing through the daughter card 200 to abut against an outside surface of the daughter card 200.
