Abstract: Provided are a method and apparatus for processing an edge of a touch screen. The method includes: detecting a current portrait or landscape state of a touch screen of a mobile terminal; determining that edge suppression is performed or no edge suppression is performed on an edge of the touch screen according to the portrait or landscape state of the mobile terminal; setting an edge suppression function of the touch screen according to a determination result, thereby solving the problem in the related art that that screen edge suppression of a touch screen of a mobile terminal is not flexible enough, flexibly setting a screen edge suppression function of the touch screen of the mobile terminal, and improving use convenience and user experience.
