    Abstract: A data transmission and reception method and device are provided. The data transmission method includes: determining wavelength channels for data to be transmitted according to received wavelength channel information of an optical network unit (ONU); dividing the data to be transmitted in a sequence according to the number of the wavelength channels to obtain data packets; identifying the data packets according to the division sequence to obtain sequence identifiers of the data packets; and encapsulating the data packets into downstream frames of the wavelength channels in a one-to-one correspondence according to the sequence identifiers of the data packets, and transmitting the downstream frames of the wavelength channels separately to the ONU.

    Abstract: The invention discloses a passive optical network (PON) system and an implementation method thereof. A first transmission channel and a second transmission channel are provided between an optical line terminal (OLT) and an optical network unit (ONU) in the PON system. The method comprises: the OLT transmits data over the first transmission channel; the OLT transmits, over an uplink channel of the second transmission channel, all of uplink management information; or the OLT transmits, over the uplink channel of the second transmission channel, a part of the uplink management information, and transmits, over an uplink channel of the first transmission channel, the remaining uplink management information other than the part of the uplink management information transmitted over the uplink channel of the second transmission channel.

    Abstract: A method and a device for establishing channels for PON are disclosed. The method is applied to an ONU side and comprises: sending, after receiving a registration message sent from an OLT, a message responding to the registration message to the OLT, wherein the message responding to the registration message includes first parameter information for defining self uniqueness or includes combined information composed of self-first parameter information and second parameter information configured by the OLT, and the first parameter information and the combined information is used for defining a binding relationship for establishing multiple channels with the OLT; and completing the establishment of channels according to a channel use command sent from the OLT, wherein the channel use command comprises multiple pieces of channel identification information allocated by the OLT.

    Abstract: A method for activating an Optical Network Unit (ONU) is provided, where the ONU communicates with an Optical Line Terminal (OLT) through a plurality of paths. The method includes: finding the ONU by the OLT on a path of the plurality of paths; and/or selecting one path from the plurality of paths and performs a ranging on the ONU on the selected path, by the OLT. Through this solution, the OLT finds the ONU and performs ranging on each ONU on only one of the plurality of paths, that is, does not activate each ONU on all paths, thereby quickly completing an activation process of a multi-path PON in a multi-path PON structure and improving work efficiency.

    Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a method and an apparatus for implementing registration. The method includes: tuning, by optical network units (ONUs), own reception wavelengths to a downlink wavelength corresponding to any one of time-wavelength division multiplexing (TWDM) channels; and receiving, from optical line terminals (OLTs) by the ONUs, downlink frames containing operator information, judging that the operator information in the received downlink frames is same as operator information preconfigured in the ONUs, searching for an uplink wavelength corresponding to a current received wavelength in a corresponding relationship between the uplink wavelength and the downlink wavelength received from the OLTs, and tuning own uplink wavelengths to the searched uplink wavelength for registration.
