    Abstract: A method for implementing a variable optical splitter and a variable optical splitter are provided. the method includes that: the variable optical splitter is divided into one or more virtual optical splitting units according to wavelengths/wavebands of optical signals, wherein the virtual optical splitting units and the wavelengths/wavebands are in a one-to-one correspondence, and moreover, the wavelengths/wavebands and splitting ratios are also in a one-to-one correspondence; and optical guiding or optical splitting is performed on the incident optical signals through the virtual optical splitting units. By adopting the technical solutions provided by the present disclosure, the technical problems that there is yet no optical splitter with a variable splitting ratio in the related technology and the like are solved, and controllability of the splitting ratios of the optical splitter is achieved.

    Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a method and an apparatus for implementing registration. The method includes: tuning, by optical network units (ONUs), own reception wavelengths to a downlink wavelength corresponding to any one of time-wavelength division multiplexing (TWDM) channels; and receiving, from optical line terminals (OLTs) by the ONUs, downlink frames containing operator information, judging that the operator information in the received downlink frames is same as operator information preconfigured in the ONUs, searching for an uplink wavelength corresponding to a current received wavelength in a corresponding relationship between the uplink wavelength and the downlink wavelength received from the OLTs, and tuning own uplink wavelengths to the searched uplink wavelength for registration.

    Abstract: A method and a device for establishing channels for PON are disclosed. The method is applied to an ONU side and comprises: sending, after receiving a registration message sent from an OLT, a message responding to the registration message to the OLT, wherein the message responding to the registration message includes first parameter information for defining self uniqueness or includes combined information composed of self-first parameter information and second parameter information configured by the OLT, and the first parameter information and the combined information is used for defining a binding relationship for establishing multiple channels with the OLT; and completing the establishment of channels according to a channel use command sent from the OLT, wherein the channel use command comprises multiple pieces of channel identification information allocated by the OLT.

According to a technical solution provided by the present disclosure, a binding relationship can be established through a management IP address of a terminal device and authentication and configuration data of a SFP-ONU, so that the SFP-ONU can be conveniently managed and a service channel can be automatically opened in existing x-passive optical network (xPON) applications.

    Abstract: A service processing method and apparatus and an optical line terminal are provided in the present document. The method includes: establishing a corresponding relationship between a device identifier used for identifying an optical network unit ONU and a service provider SP; determining an SP providing a service according to the device identifier reported by the ONU and the corresponding relationship; and processing the service provided by the SP according to the determined SP. The present document solves the problem of resource wastes and complicated management and maintenance existing as each service provider respectively performs service operation and corresponding service management and maintenance according to respective dedicated network in the related art, thereby achieving that services of different service providers are maintained and managed in the same passive optical network, which has an effect that the network construction costs can be effectively saved, and the maintenance is convenient and efficient.
