摘要: A housing for transporting a generally cylindrical canister configured to store at least one of a pressurized gas and a pressurized liquid. The housing includes a first housing section and a second housing section that is movable with respect to the first housing section from a first operating condition to a second operating condition. A heat transfer element is coupled to at least one of the first and the second housing sections to define at least a portion of a boundary of a generally cylindrical volume. The canister is generally fixed from movement with respect to the first and the second housing sections when the second housing section is in the first operating condition, and the canister is movable with respect to the first and the second housing sections and configured to be removed from the generally cylindrical volume when the second housing section is in the second operating condition.

摘要: Described are devices and containers that are scalable, modular, and lockable laterally and vertically with other like containers for a variety of applications. A container is formed by a wall attached at first end to a top end section with an opening and attached at a second end by a bottom end section. A container may have one or more of a tongue, formed on the wall, having and interconnecting mechanism to be received and interlocked by a groove. Vertical interconnectivity is accomplished with mechanisms to stack containers and prevent swivel using a ridge and channel interlocking arrangement.

摘要: Device to simulate operation and placement of a reverse osmosis membrane element in a Reverse Osmosis Water Purification Unit (ROWPU). The device simulates the drop in hydrostatic pressure occurring when a liquid (usually water) is forced across a membrane which separates different concentrations of solutes in the same solvent system. When substituted into a typical ROWPU for an actual reverse osmosis (RO) element, the drop in hydrostatic pressure is effected by an aperture or series of apertures which allow passage of liquid directly from the intake liquid piping to the purified effluent piping. The hydrostatic pressure of the waste effluent is similar to the pressure present in the waste effluent when an actual RO element is operating in a ROWPU.

摘要: The invention includes a scalable, modular interlocking container with a multi-purpose use. Vertical and horizontal interconnectivity are achieved through interlocking mechanisms. An exemplary first use is for transporting and/or storing liquids or solids that can be poured. An exemplary second use is for a sturdy, low cost, easily assembled building block material of a standardized nature. Each modular unit slide-locks with other units to form strong wall and building structures that can be filled with natural earth, sand or other such materials, thereby forming a sturdy structure without the use of mortar, and can adapt to uneven base surfaces typically found in natural terrain.
