摘要： A card edge connector (100) for use with an electronic card (100) includes an elongated housing (1) having a pair of opposited side walls (10), a central slot (11) between the side walls (10), and a holding portion (12) at one end thereof. The holding portion (12) defining at least one leading hole (126) extending along a length direction of the housing (1). A retainer (3) is movably retained in the holding portion (12). The retainer (3) has a body portion (31) with a positioning post (315) received in the leading hole (126), a latch projection (12) protruding inwardly from the body portion (31) for locking the electronic card (200). Wherein the positioning post (315) is movable in the leading hole (126) along the length direction so as to prevent the retainer (3) from being separated from the holding portion (12).

摘要： A card edge connector comprises an insulative housing defining a front mating face and a central slot recessed rearwardly from the mating face. A plurality of contacts each has a contact portion exposed into the central for mating with a complementary connector and a solder tail exposed to outside of the housing. A cover is assembled to a rear side of the housing. A spacer sandwiched between the housing and the cover along a front-to-rear direction. The spacer defines a plurality of through holes through which the solder tails of the contacts passing.

The second terminals each defines a second level soldering portion merely under the insulative housing to closer to the first soldering portions for occupying less area of a mother board.

摘要： A card edge connector (100) includes an elongated insulative housing (1), a plurality of contacts (2) and an ejector (3) assembled in the insulative housing (1). The ejector (3) has a base (31) and two gripping portions (34) extending upwardly from the base (31). The gripping portions have an accommodating slot (340) therebetween for receiving a bottom edge of a memory module (200). The accommodating slot (340) has a first accommodating slot (3401) and a second accommodating slot (3402) for receiving a vertical bottom edge (211) and a transverse bottom edge (212) of the memory module (200), respectively. Thereby the memory module (200) could be stably inserted in the card edge connector (100).

摘要： A card edge connector includes an elongated housing and a number of contacts retained in the housing. Each contact has a retaining portion retained in the housing, a contact portion forwardly extending from a front end of the retaining portion and a connecting portion backwardly extending from a rear end of the retaining portion. The contacts are arranged in two rows and formed with a first receiving space between two rows of contact portions to receive a module and a second receiving space between two rows of connecting portions to receive a mother board. The first receiving space defines a first center line along an insertion direction of the module. The second receiving space defines a second center line which is parallel to the first center line and offset to the first center line along an up to down direction perpendicular to the insertion direction.

摘要： A card edge connector for use with a daughter board, and comprises an insulative elongated housing extending along a longitudinal direction, and defining opposite first and second side walls and a central slot formed therebetween for receiving the daughter board therein, a plurality of contacts each defining a retention portion retained in the housing, a resilient contact portion extending into the central slot from an upper portion of the retention portion for contacting with the daughter board, and a solder tail extending out of the housing form a lower portion of the retention portion. Wherein the contacts include a first row of contacts disposed in the first side wall, and a second row of contacts disposed in the second side wall. The first row of contacts have at least two adjacent grounding contacts electrically connected with each other during the contact portions of the contacts are contacting with the daughter board.
