摘要: A KVM device supporting transmission of SuperSpeed USB signal and DisplayPort video signal is disclosed. The KVM device comprises a first USB Type-C connector, a first USB Type-C switch, a second USB Type-C connector, a second USB Type-C switch, a USB switch, a video switch, a control unit, a video connector, and at least one USB connector. When using this KVM device, the first USB Type-C connector and the second USB Type-C connector are electrically connected to a host electronic device through a first USB Type-C cable and a second USB Type-C cable, respectively. Therefore, the KVM device transmits DisplayPort video signal between the host computer and an external display device that is coupled to the video connector. Moreover, the KVM device also transmits SuperSpeed USB signal between the host computer and an external electronic device that is coupled to the USB connector.

摘要: The present invention provides an apparatus and a method for switching and converting video signals, wherein the method majorly includes the steps of: receiving N number of DisplayPort video signals and N number of USB video signals by N number of USB Type-C connection interfaces which are in compliance with a DisplayPort Alternate Mode specification, and N is a natural number greater than or equal to 2; and selecting one out of the DisplayPort video signals and one out of the USB video signals; converting the selected DisplayPort video signal and the selected USB video signal into a DisplayPort video signal or a HDMI video signal; transmitting the converted DisplayPort video signal or HDMI video signal to Q number of display devices, and Q is a natural number greater than or equal to 2.

摘要: An USB electronic device having functionality of electric leakage protection is discloses. The USB electronic device comprises: a power interface, a power conversion circuit, a system controller, a circuit assembly, and a plurality of USB interfaces, of which the USB interfaces consists of at least one first USB interface and at least one second USB interface, and the first USB interface and the second USB interface both include an electrical terminal for supporting a power delivery (PD) communication protocol. In addition, there is an electric leakage preventing circuit provided in the USB electronic device. As such, in case of a power signal being transmitted between the first/second USB interface and an external electronic device by using the PD communication protocol, the electric leakage preventing circuit is enabled to prevent the power signal has a current leakage occurring between the first/second USB interface and the external electronic device.
