A navigation device equipped with an optical media player for reading an audio/video-formatted (AV-formatted) disc and a map information disc and a display device for displaying contents of the AV-formatted disc and map information thereon is provided. The navigation device includes a processing unit connected to the optical media player for controlling the optical player to read an image data and an audio data from the AV-formatted disc, an image decoding unit connected to the processing unit for decoding the image data to generate an image signal and display the image signal onto the display device, an audio decoding unit connected to the processing unit for decoding the audio data to generate an audio signal having at least one audio channel, and an audio outputting unit connected to the audio decoding unit for outputting the audio signal.
Abstract:
An automatic monitor sliding system comprises a machine case, a slidable structure, a monitor mounting plate, and a monitor structure. The slidable structure is mounted inside a reception chamber of the machine case. The monitor mounting plate is mounted in front of the machine case. The monitor structure is mounted in front of the monitor mounting plate. As a result, the slidable structure slides the monitor structure forward to slant the monitor structure downward for facilitating the user to insert and retrieve the audio-visual disk. Consequently, the automatic monitor sliding system provides the functions of protecting machine, preventing dust, water permeation, and mistouch input, and providing high sliding radian.

An interface apparatus for a vehicle has a display, a man-machine controller connected to the display and an interface graphic generator. The man-machine controller generates a first control signal, a second control signal and an image signal, and sends the first control signal and the image signal to the display. The interface graphic generator is connected to the display and the man-machine controller and controlled by the second control signal to send an interface graphic to the display. The man-machine controller is operated under an operation procedure set for outputting the second control signal to the interface graphic generator, and the interface graphic generator generates and sends an interface graphic, corresponding to a specific operation procedure in the operation procedure set, to the display for displaying the interface graphic.

A tire pressure measure system and method make use of the UWB wireless transmission technique in a local environment of a vehicle to measure the tire pressure of a vehicle. The tire pressure measure system has at least a data fetch terminal and a host control terminal. The data fetch terminals are disposed on at least a tire aircock of a vehicle. A user can operate the host control terminal to get the tire pressure values of a vehicle via the data fetch terminals by means of the UWB wireless transmission technique.
Abstract:
A people-locating system and method make use of the UWB wireless data transmission technique in a short distance to build a people-locating system in a stationary environment. The system has at least a UWB emitter, a system controller, and at least a UWB node. Each of the UWB emitters has an ID data. The system controller is used to output a control signal. The UWB nodes are connected to the system controller and distributed in the stationary environment, and are used for receiving the control signal and emitting an inquiry signal to the UWB emitters to obtain in turn the ID data emitted by the UWB emitters.
