    摘要: A pressure-controlled three-way valve device for inflating, keeping inflated and deflating tires, the device having a plunger axially traversed by an inlet passage normally closed by a spring-urged inlet valve. The plunger's outer sidewall has a recess in which an O-ring extends to abut against the steps of the recess to limit the plunger stroke and keep an outlet circuit closed to a venting port formed in the sidewall of the body of the device. The plunger moving between a position to open air supply to the tire, a position to keep an outlet circuit to a tire closed and a position to open a venting port to deflate the tire. The plunger being mounted into the valve body by a diaphragm sealing an outer wall of the plunger against the valve body and permitting the moving of the plunger with minimal friction between the plunger and the valve body.

    摘要: Apparatus for controlling and maintaining air pressure in vehicle tires. The vehicle compressor outlet is connected through individual pneumatic tire circuits to each vehicle tire, via rotary couplings in the associated axles. Each tire circuit includes tubing for carrying air and monitoring tire pressure, the circuits supporting pressure sensors and electrovalves housed in a control unit in the dashboard of the vehicle. The control unit also houses electronic circuits interfaced with the sensors and electrovalves. The sensor includes a piston which causes a shutter to move in and out of the light path of a LED/phototransistor device. When it signals low tire pressure to the electronic circuit, the corresponding electrovalve is energized for the compressor to pump the tire up back to its set pressure. A front panel has LEDs and gauges for the driver to keep tabs on events.

    摘要: An inflation viewing device has a main body which is externally provided with a transparent viewing portion and internally provided with an inner passage where an air path assembly is arranged. An air entrance connector is operatively connected to an external air source and to a first end of the main body. An air exit connector is connected to a second, opposed end of the main body and to an inflation valve. A guide spacer is provided between the air entrance connector and the main body. The guide spacer has an inner passage having a wider section in communication with the inner passage of the main body and a reduced section defining a communication opening with the air entrance connector. A filter is arranged in the communication opening. A plunger, biased by a spring, is slidably arranged within the inner passage of the guide spacer and guide section of the main body inner passage.
