A blend control lever coupled to a valve is selectively driven by a differential receiving inputs from fluid meters in the base grade lines. Opposed solenoids pull the lever to one extreme or the other for the two base grades.

摘要： An air eliminator valve for automatically collecting and venting air and other gases included in flowing liquid. The valve has a chamber in which air collects, a float in the chamber and a vent valve at the top operated by the float to vent the chamber when the liquid level falls. The vent valve has a convex or concave seat with apertures therein and is sealed by a flexible diaphragm which is peeled progressively from the seat to open the valve. The diaphragm may be annular and fixed at its outer periphery, being flexed by a coupling at its center, or may be fixed at the center and flexed by a coupling at its periphery.

摘要： A fluid control valve of the pilot operated kind has a main valve comprising a valve seat and valve member. The valve member is moved by piston action in response to fluid pressure in a control chamber. The control chamber may be coupled to the upstream pressure or the downstream pressure to close or open the valve respectively. When the valve is open there is a bleed of fluid through the control chamber via inlet and outlet passages from the upstream side and to the downstream side of the valve respectively. An auxiliary valve is situated in the downstream passage and effects control of the main valve. The auxiliary valve may be an on/off valve or a continuously controllable valve whereby the operating position of the main valve member may be controlled at an intermediate position automatically to limit flow rate.
