    摘要: Excess flow shutoff valve comprising a valve body, a valve plug, a partition, and an activation component where the valve plug, the partition, and activation component are disposed within the valve body. A suitable flow restriction is provided to create a pressure difference between the upstream end of the valve plug and the downstream end of the valve plug when fluid flows through the valve body. The pressure difference exceeds a target pressure difference needed to activate the activation component when fluid flow through the valve body is higher than a desired rate, and thereby closes the valve.

    摘要: A valve assembly for a fluid system is provided. The valve assembly includes a damping component to reduce undesired pressure fluctuations within the system. The valve assembly includes a valve guide member and a valve member at least partially situated around the valve guide member. The valve member may be slidable relative to the valve guide member. The valve member is configured to move between a first valve member position that substantially permits fluid flow from the fluid system through the valve assembly, and a second valve member position that substantially prevents fluid flow from the fluid system through the valve assembly. A metering hole is formed on the valve member and adapted to dampen the motion of the valve member from the first valve member position to the second valve member position.

    摘要: A control valve comprises a valve housing (1) having an inlet side (17) and an outlet side (18). The control valve also has a pressure maintaining arrangement for maintaining a constant differential pressure between the inlet and outlet sides, as well as an amount control arrangement for setting the maximum flow through the valve. A pair of cylinder shells located in the flow path have cooperating recesses which provide an uncovered area forming an opening (25). One cylinder shell is rotatable relative to the other cylinder shell by a rotatable handle (13), whereby a larger or smaller opening (25) between the cooperating cylinder shells may be provided. Both cylinder shells are axially displaceable within a seat hole (8), resulting in an increase or a decrease of the opening (25).

    摘要: A manually operable gas regulator includes a knob, an upper cover, a return spring, a movable block, a pressure adjusting spring, a diaphragm assembly, a body, and a lever pivotably mounted to the body. An upper end of the diaphragm assembly abuts a lower end of the pressure adjusting spring whose upper end abuts a lower end of the movable block. An upper end of the movable block abuts a lower end of the movable block securely engaged with the upper cover and the knob. Rotation of the knob causes upward/downward movement of an axle of the diaphragm assembly to pivot the lever. A plug on an end of the lever is moved to accurately control the flow of gas and to accurately close or open an output end of an inlet passage of the body.

    摘要: Disclosed is a cylindrical, single-component two-stage regulator for controlling a pressure and a flow rate of a gas. The regulator includes a housing for holding the two stages having an ingress adapted for connection to a source of gas at a high input pressure and an egress adapted for supplying gas at a lower output pressure than the high input pressure; a first stage for reducing the pressure of the gas from the high input pressure to a fixed intermediate pressure; and a second stage for reducing the pressure of the gas from the fixed intermediate pressure to the lower output pressure and regulating the flow rate of the gas out of the egress. One application of the present invention is for use in scuba (Self-Contained Under-water Breathing Apparatus) applications, where it replaces the traditional two-component user-adjustable regulator. The regulator may be made out of stainless steel, and is small enough to fit into a user's mouthpiece.
