The switching takes place in the zero passage and is symmetrical in such a way that there is no d.c. voltage component in the mains. It also contains an optical temperature monitoring of the plate covering the cooking point with an infrared photosensor, which determines the temperature on the basis of its predetermined spectral range.

摘要： An adjusting shaft for an electric regulating or control device, which operates equipment functions by means of a control cam, is profiled to engage the control cam and can be installed subsequent to the complete assembly of the control device and fixed relative to the control device by a spring detent and associated stop. The stop can also serve to prevent unintentional rotation of the control cam until displacement of the stop against the opposition of a biasing spring. The subsequently installed shaft can allow use of universal control devices with random shaft lengths and types.

摘要： To a lower coverplate of an electric hotplate a side plate is fitted, onto which can subsequently be mounted an insulator by means of a locking connection. The insulator receives connecting leads from the hotplate and corresponding connections, such as flat connecting tongues. As a result of the subsequent mountability of the insulator, the transportation height is reduced, and by a desired bending point, the entire connecting unit can easily be adapted to different installation shapes and heights.

摘要： A temperature switch, used more particular as a temperature limiter for a radiation heating element (11) for heating a glass-ceramic plate (12), has radiation heaters (13, 14). Its rod-shaped temperature sensor (20) has an expansion rod (24) which is disposed in a tube (25) acting as a comparison norm and can be made of a chromium-iron-aluminum alloy and is heat-treated above 1100.degree. C. The tube (25) can be made of a radiation-absorbing material or is coated with such a material, for example, cordierite, non-transmissive glass-ceramics or quartz material. The result of both steps is that the temperature switch has an enhanced switching amplitude and therefore a reduced switching frequency.

For damping or attenuating the high starting or transient current of the light radiator (15), a damping resistor (21) is connected in series therewith, namely during the warming-up phase of the light radiator (15). Following the rise of the resistance of the light radiator due to its heating or after a certain time lapse, a damping switching device (22) disables the series resistor by shorting across it.
