摘要： An improved snap action or sump pump switch is disclosed which conventionally includes a housing defining a depression therein and being open on a bottom side thereof; a movable, U-shaped contact support bridge, a coiled actuator spring containing a standard pivot bushing on one end thereof and having an opposite end fitted against the bridge, and an elongated actuator arm or operating lever having a rounded end projecting into the pivot bushing and a pair of laterally projecting, cylindrically shaped ears adapted for disposition in sockets contained in and defined by the housing. Once assembled, these components are held in a stable cooperative relationship relative to one another due to the actuator ears being disposed in forwardly opening, rearwardly projecting slots defined by shoulders projecting from rear inside walls of the housing such that the compressed spring continually urges the ears of the actuator arm rearwardly against the bases of the slots. The switch components are thus easily assembled by hand or otherwise into the required cooperative relationship within the housing and do not require extraordinary means for holding them in the required relationship prior to and during placement of a cover on the housing.

摘要： A normally-open switch comprises: a housing; a push button that is mounted for movement with respect to the housing; a stationary terminal; a moveable terminal that, when in contact with the stationary terminal, completes a circuit; and one or more positive stops that engage the stationary terminal. When a force is applied to the push button, the moveable terminal makes contact with the stationary terminal, thus closing the circuit. When the force is removed, the moveable terminal breaks contact with the stationary terminal, thus opening the circuit. The one or more positive stops apply pressure to and maintain a predetermined position of the stationary terminal, but do not interfere with or impede the moveable terminal.

摘要： A gravity/spring assisted electrical current operated relay has electrical terminals constructed integrally with electrical contact blades. Continuous build-up of conducting particles from the arcing of contacts is prevented through slots and protrusions built into the body of the relay. A recess is provided at the bottom of a cavity holding the armature for receiving foreign matter. Longitudinal ribs are provided along the walls of the cavity to prevent binding of the armature as it moves within the cavity. The ribs also provide a space for foreign matter. A holder is provided to receive an electrical terminal remote from the field coil.

摘要： A plunger switch is described. The switch has a carrier having a base portion. The carrier base portion has channels which receive bridge contact members. The bridge contact members are trapped in the channels by a retainer member. The carrier is inserted into a housing with a neck portion extending through an opening in a top of the housing. A clip/stop member is positioned around the neck portion. A button is then attached to the neck portion with a pin. The neck portion and clip/stop member are pushed through the opening into the housing. Spring arms on the clip/stop member spring outward inside the housing to create an up-stop for the carrier with respect to the housing.

摘要： A plunger which opens and closes a switch is actuated by a hollow switch button which is trapped between a switch housing and a post which carries the plunger. An edge of the post bearing against the inside corner of the hollow button and the chamfered ends of the button flanges bearing against the intersection of the open end housing walls and a rim extending from the walls provide the button pivot axis to actuate the plunger. The switch includes two resilient blades one of which is longer than the other. One end of each blade is fixed with their distal ends pointed toward and overlapping each other.
