摘要: A vascular stent (1) for scaffolding a vessel (11) from the inside, wherein the stent is provided with a plurality of tube-forming elements (3A), (3B), and (3C) for forming a tube (2), the tube-forming elements combining with each other to construct a single flow path. Each of the tube-forming elements is formed by bending a strand comprising a single continuous biodegradable polymer, and first and second projecting parts (4, 5) are formed by successive alternation. Formation occurs in multiple stages in the axial direction of the tube by connecting using connecting legs (6) for successively connecting one side of the first projecting part and the other side of the second projecting part where the first and second projecting parts successively alternate. Elastic displacement parts (9) for performing elastic displacement by applying a pressing force to the tube are formed in the middle of the connecting legs successively connecting the first and second projecting parts of the tube-forming elements.

摘要: A catheter apparatus comprising a catheter and a sheath are provided. The catheter has a distal end to which an insertion guiding member is attached, provided at its distal end with a balloon to expand a vascular stent, and provided with an expansion medium supplying channel for supplying an expansion medium to inflate the balloon and with a guide wire insertion channel for inserting a guide wire. The sheath is operated to move relative to the catheter between the section where it is covering the balloon attaching the vascular stent and the section where it is supposed to expose the vascular stent attached to the balloon. A first movement restrictor and a second movement restrictor are provided, thereby restricting movable position such that excessive movement of the sheath is restricted, injuring of a blood vessel is prevented and the stent is implanted to a desired site in a blood vessel.

摘要: Present invention is a medical catheter apparatus used for implanting a vascular stent into a vessel of a living body comprising a catheter (2) provided with a balloon (3), on which a vascular stent (4) is mounted, and a sheath into which the catheter is relatively movably inserted. The catheter is provided at the middle portion with a guide wire leading-out opening (11) for leading out the inserted guide wire (9) toward the side direction of the catheter, the sheath is provided at a middle portion with a guide wire drawing-out opening (13) for drawing the guide wire drawn from the catheter out of the sheath, and a guide wire drawing-out guiding mechanism (14) is provided between the guide wire leading-out opening and the guide wire drawing-out opening for guiding the guide wire led out from the guide wire leading-out opening to the guide wire drawing-out opening. The guide wire drawing-out guiding mechanism has a variable length from the guide wire leading-out opening to the guide wire drawing-out opening which varies in accordance with the relative movement of the sheath with respect to the catheter.

摘要: Present invention is a stent apparatus wherein a stent covering member holds a stent, which scaffolds a blood vessel from the inside when implanted in the blood vessel, in contracted state. The stent is formed of a biodegradable polylactic acid (PLA) as a tubular shape, shape memorized to a size capable of, when implanted in a vessel, scaffolding the blood vessel from the inside. This stent is held by the stent covering member in contracted state and mounted on a balloon of a balloon. The covering member is formed of a biodegradable polymer having elasticity as a cylindrical shape having an inner diameter to keep the stent in contracted state and, when the stent is expanded to the shape memorized shape, plastically deformed to release the holding of the stent. The stent and the stent covering member disappear in a vessel after they are implanted in the vessel.

摘要: An object is to surely hold a stent formed of a biodegradable polymer and shape memorized to an expanded size having a diameter larger than an inner diameter of a vessel on a balloon in contracted state. A stent apparatus comprises a stent formed of a biodegradable polymer material using polylactic acid having a shape memory property as a tubular shape and shape memorized to a size capable of scaffolding a vessel from the inside when implanted in the vessel; and a stent holding member formed of a biodegradable polymer material for covering the outer surface of the stent to hold the stent in a contracted state that is smaller in diameter than the shape memorized size, wherein a stent detecting member is attached to the stent and a part of the stent holding member is fixed to the stent detecting member.

摘要: Present invention is a stent apparatus wherein a stent covering member holds a stent, which scaffolds a blood vessel from the inside when implanted in the blood vessel, in contracted state. 摘要: Medical catheter apparatus used for implanting a vascular stent into a vessel of a living body comprising a catheter including a distal portion where a balloon attaching a vascular stent is provided, and a sheath into which the catheter is inserted and to be moved relative to the catheter between the section where it covers the balloon on which a vascular stent is mounted and the section where it exposes the vascular stent mounted on the balloon. The sheath comprises a first tubular member covering the distal portion at which the balloon is provided, and a second tubular member covering the proximal portion of the catheter and connected with the first tubular member. The first tubular member is formed of a tubular member capable of flexible deformation and the second tubular member is formed of a tubular member less extensible in the axial direction than the first tubular member.

摘要: A stent holding member used in a stent delivery system adapted to implant a stent of a cylindrical configuration, designed to be embedded in a living body, to a desired site of implantation in a vessel of the living body. The stent holding member includes a tubular holding member formed of an elastic material. The holder has a groove in its outer peripheral portion for holding one or more supporting struts making up the stent. Each of these supporting struts is embedded at least partially in the groove to hold the stent. The groove has its opening end side expanded by expansion of the holder along the radial direction. By expansion of the opened end of the groove, the stent held in the groove is dilated and released from the holder.
