摘要: Systems and methods are provided for managing an environment (e.g., a call center) including both voice users and streaming audio users (e.g., streaming music) using a common wireless protocol, e.g., Bluetooth. The system may include multiple base stations communicating with multiple user devices (e.g., wireless headsets) to define a plurality of wireless audio links. A central controller in communication with the base stations may receive wireless link data associated with the wireless audio links, determine a current count of voice users versus streaming audio users, generate channel assignment data specifying a first frequency channels designated for voice users and second frequency channels designated for streaming audio users, and communicate such channel assignment data to the base stations. Each base station may then selectively utilize particular frequency channel(s) based on the channel assignment data and the type of audio communication (e.g., voice or streaming audio) currently used by the respective user.

摘要: The attention level of participants is measured and then the resulting value is provided on a display of the participants. The participants are presented in a gallery view layout. The frame of each participant is colored to indicate the attention level. The entire window is tinted in colors representing the attention level. The blurriness of the participant indicates attention level. The saturation the participant indicates attention level. The window sizes vary based on attention level. Color bars are added to provide indications of percentages of attention level over differing time periods. Neural networks are used to find the faces of the participants and then develop facial keypoint values which are used to determine gaze direction, which in turn is used to develop an attention score. The attention score is then used to determine the settings of the layout.

摘要: Described are multiple cameras in a conference room, each pointed in a different direction. A primary camera includes a microphone array to perform sound source localization (SSL). The SSL is used in combination with a video image to identify the speaker from among multiple individuals that appear in the video image. Pose information of the speaker is developed. Pose information of each individual identified in each other camera is developed. The speaker pose information is compared to the pose information of the individuals from the other cameras. The best match for each other camera is selected as the speaker in that camera. The speaker views of each camera are compared to determine the speaker view with the most frontal view of the speaker. That camera is selected to provide the video for provision to the far end.

摘要: A headset with automatic noise reduction mode switching is provided to enable better call experience when conducting a call. The headset comprises at least one or more earphones, one or more microphones, a processor, and an active noise cancellation circuit, connected at least with the processor. The processor is configured to determine whether a call is being conducted using the headset, and if a call is being conducted, to switch the active noise cancellation circuit from a first ANC mode to a second ANC mode.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for managing multiple wireless links, e.g., between base stations and wireless headsets. Each wireless link communicates data packets (e.g., audio data packets) according to a wireless protocol (e.g., Bluetooth) defining a series of connection intervals having a defined number of frames (e.g., Bluetooth eSCO intervals including 6 or 12 frames per interval). A controller stores interval segmentation data specifying a first interval segment (including a first subset of frames) allocated to original transmissions of packets and at least one additional interval segment (including additional subsets of frames) allocated to retransmissions of failed packets. The controller uses the interval segmentation data to manage timing for packet transmissions and retransmissions by the various wireless devices, such that each device (a) sends transmissions only during the first interval segment and (b) sends retransmissions only during the additional interval segment(s), to thereby reduce interference between the various wireless links.

摘要: A headset case includes a base providing a cavity for stowing a headset, the base including a bottom region configured to rest on a surface; a lid; and a hinge pivotably connecting the lid to the base. When the headset case is in a closed configuration, the lid covers the cavity. When the headset case is in an open configuration, a first section of the lid at least partially rests on the surface, and a second section of the lid, extending from the first section of the lid, is configured to prop up a smartphone by mechanically supporting the smartphone leaning against the second section of the lid while resting on the base.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses for carrier selection are described. In one example, a method of carrier selection for a frequency-hopping wireless communication device includes using a fixed set of available carriers to hop over during communications. The method includes allocating a subset of the available carriers to a long-range carrier class. In one example, the subset of available carriers consists of at least two carrier clusters spaced widely in the frequency spectrum. The method further includes monitoring a transmit power level in the wireless communication device. The method further includes using the long-range carrier class to hop over during communications if the wireless communication device transmit power is greater than a predetermined level.
