摘要: Methods, systems, devices and apparatuses for a sound enhancement system. The sound enhancement system includes a trailer brake control unit placed on the vehicle and an electronic control unit coupled to the trailer brake control unit. The electronic control unit is configured to determine the vehicle is operating in a tow mode based on the trailer brake status, determine a magnitude of an audio signal that mimics or enhances engine sound based on the tow mode, and generate the audio signal. The sound enhancement system further includes an audio device configured to output the audio signal based at the determined magnitude.

摘要: Synthetic noises are generated to mask undesirable disturbing noises arising during the operation of a vehicle. The synthetic noise is generated from an unmodulated synthetic noise to adjust a desired sound characteristic by multiplication with at least one filter and/or amplifier which is dependent on a vehicle parameter. A pitch of all acoustic signals of which the modulated synthetic noise is composed is kept constant during an emission of the modulated synthetic noise. The unmodulated synthetic noise is designed as 1/f noise, and is pre-modulated by at least one static filter before being modulated by the at least one filter and/or amplifier which is dependent on the vehicle parameter.

摘要: A takeoff location and a landing location are received for an autonomous vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) vehicle that includes a plurality of rotors. An autonomous and noise-reduced flight trajectory for the autonomous VTOL vehicle is determined based at least in part on the takeoff location, the landing location, a jerk function, and a noise function, including by minimizing the jerk function and minimizing the noise function. A set of one or more desired forces or moments is determined for the autonomous VTOL vehicle based at least in part on autonomous and noise-reduced flight trajectory. A plurality of motor control signals is determined for the plurality of rotors based at least in part on the set of one or more desired forces or moments.

The remote unit is configured to evaluate, analyze and/or process the ambient sound captured by the at least one microphone, to determine one or more of at least one ambient sound parameter, at least one control parameter, and at least one control command, based at least on the evaluation, analysis and/or processing of the ambient sound, and to send the at least one ambient sound parameter, the at least one control parameter and/or the at least one control command to the at least one earphone.

摘要: A statistical audibility prediction (SAP) method for predicting the audibility of a signal over time at a listening location, the signal from a signal source in the presence of a concurrent masking sound or masker from a masker source. The method includes receiving, via a processor over a plurality of auditory channels, a specific loudness of the signal and masker at the listening location. The method includes calculating for each auditory channel a standard deviation of a distribution of the specific loudness of the signal and masker, and calculating, via the processor, corresponding channel-specific detectability indices (d′t,i) for each auditory channel as a function of their standard deviations. The corresponding channel-specific detectability indices are then summed to produce a total detectability index (d′t), which may be output as an electronic signal that indicates the predicted audibility vs. time, e.g., to a downstream process and/or system or offline.

摘要: A speaker comprises a housing, a transducer residing inside the housing, and at least one sound guiding hole located on the housing. The transducer generates vibrations. The vibrations produce a sound wave inside the housing and cause a leaked sound wave spreading outside the housing from a portion of the housing. The at least one sound guiding hole guides the sound wave inside the housing through the at least one sound guiding hole to an outside of the housing. The guided sound wave interferes with the leaked sound wave in a target region. The interference at a specific frequency relates to a distance between the at least one sound guiding hole and the portion of the housing.
