    摘要: An EAS tag is provided having improved anti-defeat devices and methods. A pin assembly is coupled to a lanyard and includes a reduced cross-sectional profile that may be passed through a monitored article to produce no damage or minimal damage to the monitored article. The pin assembly engages a spring clamp provided in the EAS tag and is electrically coupled to an intermediate spring contact that provides an electrical current to a PC board for arming the EAS tag. A force may be applied to the intermediate spring contact to generate a reset signal that disarms the EAS tag. An alarm signal is generated if current to the PC board is disrupted without a corresponding reset signal, such as if the pin assembly is removed without rotating the intermediate spring contact or if the lanyard is cut. The tag body is provided with an arcuate channel through which an arcuate detacher probe can be guided for releasing the attaching assembly part.

In one implementation, A method includes tracking, over a plurality of image frames spanning a first period of time, a plurality of objects moving in an environment, and determining a plurality of respective trajectories of the plurality of objects. The method includes identifying a common trajectory shared by more than one object of the plurality of objects based on comparing each of the plurality of respective trajectories to one another and identifying an ROI that encompasses the common trajectory. The method further includes tracking, over a plurality of new image frames spanning a second period of time, another plurality of objects moving in the environment, and generating an alert that the common trajectory has changed based on new trajectories of the another plurality of objects.

The EAS network includes at least one EAS sensor hard-wired to at least one wireless device node. The wireless access point includes a wired communication interface, a wireless communication interface and a controller. The controller is electrically coupled to the wired communication interface and to the wireless communication interface. The wired communication interface operates to receive a message. The message includes a sub-layer address corresponding to an EAS sensor. The wireless communication interface operates to broadcast the message and to receive an acknowledgement of the broadcast message. The acknowledgment originates from the EAS sensor corresponding to the sub-layer address. The controller operates to transfer the message between the wired communication interface and the wireless communication interface.

The detaching unit detaches the spring clamp mechanism of a combination EAS/RFID tag when the tag is placed within a particular region within the detaching unit. A near field magnetic loop antenna is situated within the placement region in a housing. When the combination EAS/RFID tag is placed within the placement region just above the near field magnetic loop antenna, the RFID code of the tag is read and the detachment unit releases the clamp mechanism that attaches the EAS/RFID tag to its article.
