摘要： An end wall display window particularly structured for use with a wraparound type carton in which a container matrix of, e.g., soft drink or beer cans, is sold. The display window structure preferably includes two wrap panels at each end of the carton, one on each wrap panel pair being connected to each of the carton's side walls. The two wrap panels of each pair are wrapped around portions of the outer surface of the end container in the matrix so that the wrap panels conform to the configuration of those container outer surface portions. The wrap panels are configured to define a window so that at least a portion of those end containers about which they are wrapped will be exposed to the sight of a casual viewer.

摘要： A carton carrying handle particularly adapted for use with a wraparound type carton in which cans, e.g., soft drink or beer cans are sold. The handle includes a handle flap defined in the carton's top panel by a traverse breakaway cut line spaced from a traverse fold line, both lines extending across that top panel from side edge to side edge, and by breakaway cut lines co-extensive with the side edges of the top panel, so as to provide a handle hole with a length equal to the width of the top panel, and with a width sufficient to permit a user's fingers to be received through the hole underneath that top panel. Preferably the handle flap is separable into two sub-flaps by means of a longitudinal breakaway cut line that extends between the transverse cut line and the handle flap's hinge line, the hinge lines for the two sub-flaps being co-axial one with the other. Accordingly, and when the carton's user wishes to snap open the handle flap, the handle flap breaks away from the top panel along the longitudinal end cut lines and the transverse cut line, as well as the longitudinal center cut line, to define the two sub-flaps which pivot or hinge underneath the top panel on the transverse hinge line.

摘要： The invention relates to consumer product packages having impact promotional items printed directly on the package and methods for manufacturing such product packages. An image constituting the impact promotional item is printed using blended printing inks and sublimation dyes onto a paperboard blank, which is folded to form a product package. The printed image has a visual appearance substantially unchanged from a conventional printed image. The sublimation dyes present in the printed image supply a transferrable image component that, following transfer to a substrate such as a fabric article, accurately reproduces the printed image viewed by the consumer on the product package. Printing ink and sublimation dye blends for printing the image are also disclosed, as are methods for transferring the transferrable image component to an article, such as a fabric article or textile.

摘要： A sleeve style carton carrier for carrying cartons of the type having a gable pocket defined in each of opposing end walls. The carrier has side walls, and end walls that define a sleeve adapted to surround the carton, the end walls each being foldably attached to a latch panel. The latch panels are deformable into the carton's gable pockets when the carrier receives a carton therein. When the carrier and carton assembly is lifted, the latch panels are trapped tightly in the gable pockets under the weight of the carton and its contents.

摘要： A sleeve style carton for a bottle matrix where the bottles may be either of the short neck type or the long neck type. The carton includes corner flaps that are wrapped around the corner bottles of the matrix, the corner flaps, along with the carton's side walls and end walls, being structured to make the shoulder, neck and cap portions of the corner bottles partially visible when the carton is viewed in side elevation view. Preferably each corner flap is of a height not substantially greater than the height of a bottle's label and is positioned so as to substantially overlie that corner bottle's label when the carton is filled with the bottle matrix. This allows label indicia to be provided on each corner flap that simulates that portion of the bottle's label indicia visible when the bottle's label is viewed on the bottle in front plan view, thereby making it appear to a casual observer that the bottle's label itself is being viewed in front plan view when the bottle matrix is in the carton regardless of the rotational position of the corner bottles relative to the matrix.

An extender cut line is connected to each end of the curved hinge line so as to constitute co-linear extensions of the hinge line, each of those extender cut lines being of a length that traverses an adjacent fold line which connects the top wall panel and an adjacent side wall panel so that each extender cut line terminates within a side wall panel. Each end of the free edge cut line is connected with an adjacent extender cut line so as to fully define the handle flap. Accordingly, the handle flap is foldable on the curved hinge line beneath the top wall panel to form a handle hole that permits a user's fingers to be received therethrough when the carton is being carried by the user.
