    Abstract: A pin (10) includes, in order from a free end of the pin (10), a shoulder surface (11), a first sealing surface (12), a first male threaded portion (13), a second sealing surface (14), and a second male threaded portion (15). A box (20) includes a shoulder surface (21), a first sealing surface (22), a first female threaded portion (23), a second sealing surface (24), and a second female threaded portion (25). The flank angles of load flanks (13d and 23d) of the first male threaded portion (13) and the first female threaded portion (23) are each less than 0 degrees. The first male threaded portion (13) is composed of, in order from near the second sealing surface (14), an incomplete thread section (31b) and a complete thread section (31a). The incomplete thread section (31b) has a length of at least three times the thread pitch thereof and has a thread height lower than the thread height of the complete thread section (31a). The incomplete thread section (31b) is provided with clearances between crests (13a and 23a) and roots (23b and 13b).

    Abstract: A stabbing guide device is for a steel tube to be secured on a portion of the tube used in a tubular column for oil and gas, energy, or storage applications. The device includes a substantially cylindrical body extending along a rotational axis to surround the portion of the first steel tube, the body forming an open ring so that a circumferential gap subsists between two free ends of the body, and a locking door secured to the body at one of the two free ends and movable compared to the body between a locked position in which the locking door rotates towards the body and surrounds the first tube, an intermediate position in which the locking door is slid along the rotational axis towards a lower end of the body, and an unlocked position in which the locking door is rotated radially away from the body.

    Abstract: A threaded connection for large diameter steel pipe exhibits high torque resistance and high sealability and, at the same time, provides a shear resistance that suits the size of the steel pipe to be connected. The threaded connection includes a tubular pin provided on a tip of a steel pipe with large diameter, and a tubular box 20 adapted to be drawn up on the pin as the pin is screwed in. The pin includes a male threadform made with a taper thread. The box includes a female threadform made with a taper thread. Each of the threadforms are wedge threads and have a dovetail-shaped cross section. The male threadform is designed such that the width of the thread in an end region of the male threadform closer to the tip is set to a size corresponding to the size of the pipe body of the steel pipe.

    Abstract: A self-locking threaded connection partially in a non-locking engagement includes a first and a second tubular component provided respectively with male and female threaded zone at their respective ends. First portions of the female threaded zones with varying thread width and root cooperate together along a self-locking tightening arrangement. A locking region within the threaded connection is located in the middle of non-locking, and radially centered to the pipe body API tolerances in order to withstand high torque and seal performances.
