摘要: A beacon device for communicating with at least one discovering device is described. The beacon device comprises: a transceiver that is configured to obtain content from a remote server using a first wireless technology or a wireline technology; a second transmitter configured to transmit at least a beacon indicator on a second wireless technology; a second receiver configured to receive a first message from the discovering device in response to the beacon indicator on the second wireless technology requesting information relating to the beacon indicator; a controller operably coupled to the second receiver and configured to process the received first message; a transceiver that supports a second wireless or wireline technology configured to obtain the content from a remote server that stores the requested information using the second wireless or wireline technology; and in response thereto the second transmitter transmits a second message to the at least one discovering device comprising details of how the content can be downloaded by the at least one discovering device.

摘要: A resilient antenna securing device that includes a frame structure and a plurality of fin components projecting outwardly from the frame structure. The fin components are configured to receive and hold one or more RF antenna portions. Each fin of a first pair of the plurality of fins components includes a tab that extends toward the other fin of the first pair of fins. At least one first intermediate fin of the plurality of fins is disposed between the first pair of fins. The tabs from the first pair of fins together trap a first RF antenna portion between the tabs and the at least one first intermediate fin.

摘要: An edge computing system configured to dynamically offload tasks from a user device to an edge device. The edge device may receive a request to download or run a software application suitable processing a sensory feed collected by the user device. The edge device may determine operating requirements of the software application, determine the internal capabilities of the edge device, and compare the determined operating requirements of the software application to the determined capabilities of the edge device to determine whether the edge device is capable of running the entire software application. The edge device may also determine whether the edge device is capable of running a portion of the software application in response to determining that the edge device is not capable of running the entire software application. The edge device may send a message identifying portions that could be run on the edge device.

摘要: Various embodiments include a connector head assembly for an electrical cable attached to one or more receptacle connectors. The connector head assembly may include an elongate overmold having a longitudinal extent that is longer than a height or width thereof. The elongate overmold may be configured to encase a terminal end of the electrical cable coupled to the one or more receptacle connectors inside the elongate overmold. The connector head assembly may also include a pull tab pivotally attached to the elongate overmold on an upper surface thereof. A pulling force applied to the pull tab may be configured to separate the receptacle connector from a receptacle in which the receptacle connector is configured to be held.

摘要: The embodiments include a stackable computing device that includes an integrated heatsink and antenna structure and a housing structure. The housing structure includes a housing casing that surrounds the integrated heatsink and antenna structure. The integrated heatsink and antenna structure includes a heatsink base and one or more radio frequency (RF) antenna portions. The heatsink base includes a connector port that provides an interface between components of the computing device and other computing or peripheral devices. For example, the heatsink base may include platform that is configured to have circuitry fixedly secured on a first side of the platform with a connector of the circuitry aligned with an aperture of the connector port such that a connection to the circuitry is accepted by circuitry of another computing device.
