摘要:
Method and system for discovering and identifying a video object. The method includes crawling at least one predetermined website, discovering at least one video link at the predetermined website, processing information associated with a first database for storing one or more video links, and determining whether the discovered video link was already discovered before based on at least information associated with the first database. Additionally, the method includes, if the discovered video link is determined not to have been discovered before, updating the first database based on at least information associated with the discovered video link, downloading at least one video object based on at least information associated with the discovered video link, and processing information associated with the downloaded video object.
摘要:
A method and system for generating a fingerprint for a video object. The method includes obtaining a plurality of frames associated with a video object. Additionally, the method includes, for each of the plurality of frames, processing information associated with the plurality of frames, determining a plurality of spatial signatures for the each of the plurality of frames based on at least information associated with the each of the plurality of frames, and determining a plurality of temporal signatures for the each of the plurality of frames based on at least information associated with the plurality of frames. The plurality of spatial signatures corresponds to a plurality of resolutions respectively, and the plurality of temporal signatures corresponding to a plurality of frame rates respectively.
摘要:
Systems and methods are provided for identifying a video object using digital fingerprints. The digital fingerprints are generated from information extracted from the video object including encoded video. The digital fingerprints can be calculated in a manner that permits identification of both the video object and operational characteristics of the video object based on matching calculated digital fingerprints with known fingerprints of known video objects. Systems and methods are described that allow a DVD to be uniquely identified and identify whether the DVD is original, copied or pirated. Systems and methods are described for computing digital fingerprints from strings of bits in which certain additional data is optionally embedded. Systems and methods are described that permit media players to access known signatures of known video objects maintained on one or more databases and to identify video objects presented for playing on the media player. In the present continuation application, the video object is extended to media content including video and audio, and DVD is extended to media file, network stream and other content mediums.

A method and system for generating a spatial signature for a frame of a video object. The method includes obtaining a frame associated with a video object, and dividing the frame into a plurality of blocks. The plurality of blocks corresponds to a plurality of locations respectively, each of the plurality of blocks includes a plurality of pixels, and the plurality of pixels corresponds to a plurality of pixel values respectively. Additionally, the method includes determining a plurality of average pixel values for the plurality of blocks respectively. Each of the plurality of blocks corresponds to one of the plurality of average pixel values. Moreover, the method includes processing information associated with the plurality of average pixel values and determining a plurality of comparison values for the plurality of blocks respectively based on at least information associated with the plurality of average pixel values.
