摘要： A motor for a laundry appliance includes a drive shaft coupled to a drum at a first end. The rotor frame is coupled proximate the second end of the drive shaft, where the rotor frame includes at least one polymeric material. A central hub includes a core and a perimetrical ring that extends circumferentially around the core. A plurality of recesses are defined within a planar surface of the perimetrical ring, wherein a portion of the polymeric material is received within the plurality of recesses to secure the rotor frame to the central hub.

摘要： A dispenser box assembly for a laundry appliance that includes a dispenser housing and a lid. The dispenser housing includes one or more housing walls that define a main chamber. The lid is attached to the housing walls and includes an in-lid reservoir. The in-lid reservoir includes an inlet section that is arranged in fluid communication with water inlet ports in the dispenser housing and a diffuser section with an outlet that is arranged in fluid communication with the main chamber. An air port that is open to the atmosphere is arranged in fluid communication with the main chamber such that the main chamber is open to atmospheric pressure and produces a water pressure drop between the water inlet ports and a water outlet port at the bottom of the main chamber.

摘要： A dishwasher includes a tub with an outlet for humid air to flow out from the tub, and an inlet for dry air to flow into the tub; and a drying system with an air circuit and an adsorbent component disposed between an air inlet and an air outlet in the air circuit. The adsorbent component includes a water harvesting nanomaterial for absorbing water from the humid air and releasing water upon regeneration. During a drying cycle, the air circuit draws humid air from the tub such that the adsorbent component absorbs moisture from the humid air to form a dry air stream, and during a subsequent wash cycle, the air circuit is blocked from receiving air flow such that latent heat can be transferred to the adsorbent component via conduction, convection, or both, to regenerate the water harvesting nanomaterial.
