摘要： A telescopible discharge chute apparatus for a mobile concrete production machine is movable into a transport position located within the lateral confines of the concrete truck. The telescopible discharge chute apparatus utilizes individual chute sections that are substantially equal to the lateral width of the concrete truck such that the maximum effective length of the fully extended discharge chute is approximately twenty feet. One embodiment of the invention positions the generally vertical pivot axis for the discharge chute apparatus at a lateral side of the concrete truck to enable the transport width of the discharge chute apparatus to utilize the entire width of the concrete truck, while a cross conveyor is operable to transport the concrete mixture from a central, front discharge concrete drum to the discharge chute hopper. A second embodiment of the invention utilizes a half-sized chute section fixed to a central pivoted hopper to receive the concrete mixture directly from the central, front discharge concrete drum, while the telescopible discharge chute apparatus is slidable along the fixed chute section to enable the discharge chute apparatus to be placed into a transport position within the lateral confines of the concrete truck.

摘要： An apparatus for mounting on the back of a dump truck or the like to distribute material discharged from said truck to a variably selected position is disclosed wherein a chute assembly is connectable to the tailgate of the dump truck and provides a range of movement of the apparatus in a vertical direction through pivotal movement about a horizontal axis and a range of movement of the apparatus in a horizontal direction through a swing ring. The apparatus incorporates an endless conveyor having a downwardly deflected portion to receive material from the chute assembly and convey the material to a discharge opening for projection to a selected location. A constraining member restricts the material to the central portion of the conveyor to minimize the spreading of the material being discharged from the conveyor. A deflector panel positioned at the discharge opening of the apparatus to engage the stream of material being discharged provides greater flexibility for the direction of the material to a desired location.

摘要： A backhoe machine is disclosed wherein the entire articulated boom is mounted to a carriage for movement relative thereto about two normally generally horizontal pivot axes. The entire carriage is rotatable about a generally vertical axis to permit operation of the backhoe assembly laterally of the machine with the operator's station constantly facing the operation of the backhoe assembly. The first pivot axis for the articulated boom extends outwardly from the carriage and permits the entire boom to be canted relative to the carriage upon which it is mounted. The second pivot axis for the articulated boom is carried by a mounting frame and is rotatable about the first horizontal pivot axis to permit an extension of the articulated boom while being tilted relative to the carriage.

摘要： A loading conveyor for a mobile concrete mixing machine is disclosed wherein the conveyor is provided with a receiving hopper for receiving a supply of material from an external source of supply. The chain and slat conveyor is provided with an elevating portion that conveys the material from the hopper to a delivery portion which permits selective delivery to one of two aggregate supply bins. The floor of the conveyor is disposed between an upper delivery run and a lower return run and is provided with a movable section actuated by hydraulic cylinders to selectively create an opening in the floor over one or the other of the aggregate supply bins. The return run is operable to redistribute piled material within the supply bin during operation of the conveyor. The loading conveyor is operable to receive supplies of different aggregates from external sources of supply while the concrete producing machine is in motion along a path of travel to permit a continuous production and depositing of concrete therefrom along the path of travel.

摘要： A method and apparatus for continuously producing concrete at a job site is disclosed wherein the machine is provided with separate aggregate supply bins and a cement supply bin which are arranged in a generally linear fashion on a mobile frame and sized to hold at least a standard truck load of material. Delivery conveyors in operative communication with the supply bins convey material from the bins into a mixing auger where the materials are combined with water to produce concrete. A loading conveying is operable to receive different aggregates from delivery trucks and convey the aggregates to the respective supply bins while the machine continues forward movement along a path of travel. As a result, the concrete production machine can produce and discharge concrete in a continuous manner along its path of travel without stopping for frech supplies of materials.

摘要： In a concrete production system, an improved aggregates conveying apparatus includes an aggregates drag conveyor having a lower, conveying run which drags aggregates along a centrally-located, common trough shared by separate fine and coarse aggregates hoppers to a discharge end and an upper, return run which moves through a hollow channel formed in a common wall separating the hoppers above the common trough. An improved cement metering apparatus in the system includes a cement conveyor mounted along a trough below the cement hopper so as to make an endless path around a floor of the trough. Baffle gates at each end of the floor coact with the conveyor to prevent inadvertent flow of cement past the ends of the floor and to only permit metered flow of the cement from the discharge end of the trough. The fine and coarse aggregates, and the cement discharge into a mixing auger where, after water is added, they are mixed into concrete before discharge from the auger. An improved mounting arrangement supports the motor which powers the mixing auger on the inboard end of the auger, while another improved arrangement mounts the mixing auger at a corner of the chassis mounting the system for pivotal movement between raised and lowered positions and swinging movement between side and transverse rear positions.

摘要： A mixing auger apparatus for an on-site mobile concrete mixer is disclosed wherein the mixing auger apparatus is capable of effective operation while oriented at an angle of inclination greater than 22.degree. to the horizontal. The mixing auger apparatus is provided with a flexible housing that extends around the entire circumference of a half flight auger. The flexible housing is suspended from a frame such that the housing is flexible completely around the mixing auger. Adjustment devices allow the positional movement of the flexible housing relative to the mixing auger to modify the clearance between therebetween. The flexible housing is separable to permit movement thereof into an inoperable position to facilitate a cleanout of the mixing auger apparatus. The deployment of the mixing auger apparatus on a mobile concrete mixer permits the use of a standard gravity fed conveying apparatus to deliver component materials to a lower portion of the vehicle with the discharge of a concrete mixture into an elevated chute mechanism which is operable to place the mixture forwardly of the vehicle along a variable range of operation. The mixing auger apparatus is also pivotally supported to provide a range of operation laterally of the vehicle independently of the chute mechanism.

摘要： A mixing machine operable to receive quantities of waste material and an inert material in separate hoppers for conveyance to a mixing chamber for uniform mixing thereof in prescribed ratios is disclosed wherein each hopper is provided with rearwardly directed augers to pull material away from the opening from the hopper to the mixing chamber. The mixing chamber includes a rotatable flail rotor operable to engage the supplies of materials being fed thereto and effect a mixing thereof prior to being discharged to a mixing auger for final mixing of the two materials before discharge from the machine. Each component of the machine is hydraulically driven to provide independent operation thereof relative to any other component of the machine. An additive hopper is also provided to discharge a selected amount of an additive into the mixing chamber for selective neutralization of the waste material.
