    摘要: A telescopible discharge chute apparatus for a mobile concrete production machine is movable into a transport position located within the lateral confines of the concrete truck. The telescopible discharge chute apparatus utilizes individual chute sections that are substantially equal to the lateral width of the concrete truck such that the maximum effective length of the fully extended discharge chute is approximately twenty feet. One embodiment of the invention positions the generally vertical pivot axis for the discharge chute apparatus at a lateral side of the concrete truck to enable the transport width of the discharge chute apparatus to utilize the entire width of the concrete truck, while a cross conveyor is operable to transport the concrete mixture from a central, front discharge concrete drum to the discharge chute hopper. A second embodiment of the invention utilizes a half-sized chute section fixed to a central pivoted hopper to receive the concrete mixture directly from the central, front discharge concrete drum, while the telescopible discharge chute apparatus is slidable along the fixed chute section to enable the discharge chute apparatus to be placed into a transport position within the lateral confines of the concrete truck.

    摘要: A fluid motor actuator, including a hydraulic cylinder, includes a cam which is extended to become engagable with a cam follower of an extension chute section which is hinged and folded within a first chute section during transport. When the cam engages the follower of the retracted extension chute section, the cam causes the extension section to pivot out of its retracted position so that both chute sections form a unitary elongated chute adapted for receiving and directing the flow of concrete from the bowl of the mixer to the construction site. The extension chute section is retracted when the pour is completed and the cam is moved to non-interfering relation with the chute against the yieldable resistance of a spring.

The use of a rigid cover prevents the bending of the cover under the weight of the cement residue. The rigid cover can be attached to an over-chute portion of the chute such that when the over-chute rests upon the main chute, the rigid cover can be positioned to prevent the accidental discharge of cement from the chute or can be flopped on top of the over-chute. The rigid cover is designed to hold back a substantial amount of cement residue.

    摘要: A power chute racking device is disclosed for racking the discharge chute sections of a concrete mix truck. A first chute section is pivotally secured to the discharge chute support means at the rearward end of the mix truck. A hydraulic cylinder is pivotally connected to the chute support means and the lower end of the first chute section for raising and lowering the lower end of the first chute section. A second discharge chute section is pivotally connected at its upper end to the lower end of the first discharge chute section and a third discharge chute section is pivotally connected at its upper end to the lower end of the second discharge chute section. A telescoping link means extends between the discharge chute support means and the upper end of the second discharge chute section. The telescoping link means comprises a first link member pivotally secured at one end thereof to the discharge chute support means and having its other end slidably received by one end of a second link member which is pivotally secured to the second discharge chute member. The telescoping link means also comprises a link stop which is moveable into engagement with the second link member to limit the inward slidable movement of the first link member into the second link member at times. The chute sections are racked by first pivotally folding the third chute section over on top of the second chute section. The hydraulic cylinder is then extended so that the link stop can be engaged. After the link stop has been engaged, the hydraulic cylinder is retracted so that the telescoping link means causes the second discharge chute section, and the third discharge chute section folded thereon, to be folded over on top of the first discharge chute section. The discharge chute sections can be lowered by reversing the procedure outlined above.
