摘要： Hand tools having a hand guard for protecting a user's working hand are provided. In one embodiment, the hand tool may be a hand rake that includes a rake body having a proximal end and an opposite distal end and including a handle portion and a rake portion. The handle portion may extend from the proximal end of the rake body and include a finger opening configured to receive a user's fingers therethrough. The rake portion may extend from the distal end of the rake body to the handle portion and include a plurality of tines. A hand guard may be attached to the rake body and positioned over a top surface of the handle portion and may include a plurality of walls defining an interior space configured to receive the user's hand therein. In other embodiments, the hand tool may be a grabber or a paint roller.

摘要： A debris gathering and pickup tool for use in gathering, grasping, lifting, and disposing of debris present upon a ground surface of a selected area. The gathering and pickup tool includes a gathering portion and a grasping portion. The gathering portion includes a flattened gathering head, an elongated handle, and a coupling arrangement for coupling the gathering head to the elongated handle at a pre-selected downward angle. Similarly, the grasping portion may include a flattened grasping member, a user operated grasping sleeve, and a second coupling arrangement establishing a downward angle between the grasping member and the grasping sleeve. The gathering portion is further structured for being slidably coupled to the gathering portion, such that the user may selectively move the grasping portion between a retracted position and a grasping position, as needed for cleanup activities.

摘要： The invention comprises a rake apparatus having a handle with three rake heads. The first rake head is fixed to one end of the handle. The second rake head is pivotally mounted to the first rake head, and the third rake head is pivotally mounted to the second rake head. The rake heads each have elongated rake times mounted to the heads at one of the ends of the tines with the tines bent laterally at their other ends, and with the rake heads mounted one in front of the other. Spring means are provided between the first and second rake heads and the second and third rake heads to urge the second and third rake heads into parallel relation to the first rake head.

摘要： A lawn rake includes a tine receiving rake head molded of a plastic material as an integral unit structure and includes a handle receiving portion and at least one tine mounting portion. The handle receiving portion includes a generally centrally located elongated socket portion for receiving therein one end of a handle. The socket portion includes a circumferential groove formed in the wall defining the socket. The groove has a solid wall portion and a slotted wall portion. A spring-like member has a first end connected to the rake head adjacent the tine mounting portion and a second end terminating in partially annular portion. The partially annular portion is adapted to pass through the slotted portion of the groove to be seated within the solid wall portion thereof. A handle is inserted into the socket portion of the rake head for securing the partially annular portion of the spring in the groove.
